I came here for my STCW 5 day training course and had a great time. Every single member of staff I interacted with has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities and equipment here are all top notch and the trainers all have expert level knowledge in their subject matter. I had training from Matt Baxter and Henry Howes, these guys make the course consistently fun and engaging. You’re in safe hands at MRS Southampton.

Great experience doing my STCW courses with MRS - Matt and Henry were great and the whole team were very friendly. Special credit to Matt: amazing teacher and keeps it fun while also educational. I have recently completed my five-day Safety training with MRS in Southampton, and I can honestly say these guys are on top of their game. Matt, Rich and Charlie are brilliant at their ‘crafts’ plus, they are easy to speak to, professional and their friendly nature make the training so fun and enjoyable. The reception team are also very helpful. Absolutely enjoyed it.

Completed my STCW course with the MRS team this week. Had some challenges with claustrophobia during the survival suit and fire exercise drills, but the team was highly accommodating and professional. Mikey, Matt, and Rich were excellent throughout. Would recommend Southampton MRS Training & Rescue Centre for anyone pursuing their qualifications.

Attended low risk confined space course. Course well presented by Tim with adequate theory and practical elements. Lunch provided with a choice of freshly made roll / sandwich.
Practical test and closed book exam paper on course content. Good indoor practical facilities and classrooms.
