October 2023 update: Apparently M&S has gotten out of the energy business. Octopus has picked up the former M&S-via-Octopus customers. Octopus is much more responsive, so much so that I've renewed my contract with them. Note to M&S: stick with the High Street department store business and forget utilities, mobile phones, banking, whatever. Do what you're good at.

I've signed onto a two-year contract. I have a serious case of "buyer's remorse."

I've been trying to get someone at M&S Energy (Octopus) to answer my emails for two months now. Phone? Forget it.

Lousiest communication I've ever had from an electricity supply company. Bet they'd contact me fast enough if I withheld payment.

Bottom line: if you're considering M&S Energy - don't. If you ever run into problems or issues, you won't be able to contact them. The aggravation isn't worth any purported savings.
