I placed an order with MX Wholesale on 9th April and paid a substantial amount for next day delivery. However, the order arrived approximately four days later than expected.

Upon receipt, I discovered that several boxes of matches were severely damaged (please refer to the attached photographs). I contacted MX Wholesale’s Customer Service immediately upon opening the parcel, but to date, I have not received any response. Despite following up multiple times for an update or resolution, I have been met with silence.

This experience suggests a lack of regard for customer satisfaction. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to consider alternative suppliers who genuinely value their customers. Save yourself the inconvenience and disappointment.

☆☆☆ ☆ ☆ EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING - AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNWORTHY OF ANY STAR
I placed an order well in advance—13 days ahead—to ensure everything would arrive in time. It’s now day 13 and not only have I still not received the items, but the entire experience has been a complete nightmare.
At day 8, I emailed to chase the order—no reply. On day 12, I made three phone calls in the hope someone would actually honour the so-called free next-day delivery. Each time I called, I pressed the option for existing orders to get through to someone and was told someone dealing with existing orders will call me back—in other words, “We’ll pass the message on.”
I do feel sorry for the lady answering the calls; she probably got the brunt of my frustration, and she mentioned there’s a backlog of calls they’re working through. But this is not my fault, and they should be doing something to fix it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told it was impossible to be put through to anyone higher up.
Well, guess what? No one ever got back to me.
Now I have 24 incredibly disappointed children because the items are no longer arriving in time—and to top it off, I’ll now have to go through the added hassle of trying to chase down a refund for goods I no longer want or need.
Completely unacceptable service from start to finish. If you’re relying on this company to deliver on time, especially for an important event—don’t. You’ll be left scrambling and let down.
Wish me luck getting my money back... I’ll need it.

AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME!!!
If I could give them MINUS -100*, I would for sure, the worst company I ever dealt with.
Out of 3 times I placed orders with them, only one, back in Nov24 was delivered after 2 weeks of chasing and endless amount of phone calls.
2nd order placed in Mar25, after 3 weeks of phone calls and "Urgent" messages that were sent to the team dealing with orders that were never addressed, funds refunded with no update at all.
3rd order placed 2 weeks ago... as of today 28/05/25 , once again after numerous amount of calls..... no update... today I requested for the refund, as this is not how you conduct business... lets see how long it will take for them to issue it.

Goods never received! Horrible customer services experience!
After reading the reviews I stupidly went ahead and placed a pallet order on 14/05/2025, paying courier charge of nearly £66 (when on their website it states that pallet orders over £550 is free of charge), brought this to the attention of their "customer services", was told that someone will contact me, and guess what.... as of today no goods, no update at all.
Every time I called, message was taken and was told that order processing team will contact as soon as possible, as message was marked as URGENT. Well clearly their "URGENT" is not urgent at all!
Please URGENTLY process my refund!!!

Sold an item not held in stock and then blamed third party for the delay in delivery. Given two different dates and still no order received. Having to now take steps to recover monies paid. Horrible experience with a totally unprofessional company with a customer service team that is permanently "unavailable". I will certainly never be using this company again

I placed an order with MX Wholesale back in March, and never did receive my order.
I have talked on the phone with them about 4 times now, each time they just say that "they'll be in contact with me".
My emails get no replies.

At this point, I believe that this is just a big scam.

Placed an order 2 weeks ago and wasn’t even dispatched. No response to emails and was told on the phone someone would get back to me, which they never did. However, very strangely after sending an email with notice of intended legal proceedings I was refunded in less than 30 minutes! I don’t know what sort of business these people are running but it is an absolute shambles and I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone.

Avoid as much as you can.
We've bought items online and when we try to return due to poor quality, they keep saying "we'll call you back" - never did. We've tried via email, again no respond.
Absolute joke...
