We often visit here... it's one of our go to places as it's so lovely at any time of the year. On hot days it's perfect to spend 4 or 5 hours here with our dog as there's lots of shade beneath the trees and plenty of places to just sit and chill.

Been here many times and never disappoints. Easy parking with plenty of space but does get busy. Great walk around the lakes, plenty of places to stop and sit. This time I went with my elderly mother and we were able to use a scooter supplied by the park. The staff were so helpful. Will definitely recommend and go again and again.

Went here on 20th July. Can confirm there are no car park charges, no pay and display, nothing - regardless of any national trust membership. You can access the coach house cafe without paying to go in to the national trust property. Cafe had lots of seating, is friendly for dogs outside and has very kind helpful staff. Had a lovely walk catching up with some friends. This was my first visit, I'm sure we'll come back.

We had a mobility scooter and were impressed at the efficiency and checks for safety. Easy access to most of the park with disabled parking near the entrance but walk to cafe was quite long. We had to take move our car and go round the one way system and repark.

Pity about the algae on one of the lakes
Plenty of seating to enjoy the lovely views

This National Trust property is so popular that you might need to book your visit. It's not cheap to enter, and you'd do better getting a years membership so you can see this and other beautiful properties nationwide. A large house dominates one of three stunning lakes. We last visited in autumn, and the colours of the trees were breathtaking. Right opposite the famous Bluebell Railway, which is also worth a visit.

We went to the park and had a lovely walk around and a picnic. There are no facilities here unless you go into the gardens which is £18! This is an insane rice to walk around some gardens and visit a tearoom and a 2nd hand book store. The actual park is beautiful and free to walk around several routes. There is shooting happening at the bottom corner if it scares your dogs it's good to know.

We love going here, plenty of space to walk. We missed the forest walk this time (little legs with us) but enjoyed a hot cholate from the little booth, we've been a few times, loved it each time. There different events on at time of year.

Sheffield Park is a National Trust Garden and ponds.
Great place to visit if you are a member, and non-members can visit by paying an entrance fee.
It is dog friendly if on a lead at all times.
There is a small cafe shack a short way into the grounds.
The gardens and ponds ate very beautiful.
