The Net Zero Solar team were very impressive up to the point where I paid my deposit for Solar PV panels & battery storage for my new build. However, I’ve been chasing them for information for 9 weeks now - and encountered various excuses as to why it’s not been sent - and we’ve reached the point where Lewis just doesn’t bother any more. Whether he’s too busy or simply doesn’t care, I don’t know, but it reached the point a week ago where I’d had enough. Therefore I phoned the office (and followed up via email) and gave Lewis a week ultimatum to either send the required information or cancel the order. A week later, no response at all so I’ve messaged this morning to cancel my order & requested my money back. I’m hoping this will be straightforward.

I rarely post negative reviews as I’d rather give a company an opportunity to resolve any issues. But if you’re not getting any response at all, you have to draw your own conclusions.

So, from my experience, first impressions great. Post that, absolutely shocking.

I contracted Net Zero to install a 3kWp system with EV charger and growatt home storage. The consultation was great, no pushy sales which comforted both to making a decision to instruct Net Zero to carry out our installation. I would like to personally mention Dawn who took care of us pre instalation followed by Ian and Lewis. I have zero hesitation in endorsing and will actively promote the services of the Net Zero solar group enormously.

Thanks for your help and service.

We contacted Net Zero to upgrade two of our inverters and add a battery to our existing PV system and we are very pleased that we did! We received other quotes that were very competitive but both myself and husband was keen with the solution offered by the survey team and the installers were extremely efficient and knew what they was doing. I highly recommend using Net Zero.

We were excited to put in our order to do our bit for the planet with solar panels and battery storage costing £18,250. We were promised the fit would be in April, we were let down on three occasions for the installation, after many many many phone calls and textes which were pretty much ignored. We finally got a response of an extra battery and £2000 off which the battery didn’t materialise. The panels which were delivered were the wrong spec I ordered 500 watt panels and 400 watt panels were delivered. When Lewis surveyed our property he said my old system would work with new installation but when the fitters came and fitted onto outside building it didn’t work. So this meant my Log cabin has holes in the roof and the solar panels need to be removed and my shed roof now needs to be replaced at a cost of £4800. Lewis agreed to take £3500 off the fitting costs which doesn’t cover these costs. WE HAVE NO G99 WE HAVE NO SAFETY CERTIFICATES SO BASICALLY OUR SYSTEM IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. The scaffolders have not been paid so the scaffolding still remains its been up since March. The batteries are not in a safe standard can be pulled over by children weighing 50 kilos each The fuse should be upgraded to 125 amps because the fuse keeps tripping. Lewis wont speak to me I think he’s done a runner or he’s going bust. I will be reporting this to Trading Standards absolute sham from start to finish. The company website has been suspended, I’ve been around to his trading address and its all locked up no sign of him so buyers be aware

Excellent service 5* review deserved.

Net Zero took on our many questions and challenges through out the process and built our confidence to invest into a large scale system on our field.

Promises were kept and our system has produced a wonderful yield in the short space of time.

Bring on the longer daylight hours!!

Thanks again to all

If I could give -5 stars I would. Looking to invest up to 20 thousand on a solar project I was suggested this company by the light group. On the 1st appointment that was booked in by Felix Novo on the phone, the staff member Lewis did not turn up and I was not informed. I had to call Felix and he arranged a 2nd appointment which was today. Lewis again did not turn up and I was not informed of the cancellation. If this company can not even turn up to an appointment I can only imagine the level of incompitance the rest of the process would have entailed. Stay clear of this company

I was really impressed with the service from start to finish. The initial assessment was very comprehensive and more in depth than the other quotes I had. The surveyor was very friendly and knowledgeable, followed by a quick installation with great fitters. I am sorry I don't remember everyone's names, but I was happy with everyone all around.
