I brought my 80s Charvel into Lowell hoping that he could solve a big problem on this guitar.
It’s one of my best sounding instruments but it must have been Friday just before clocking out time when the posts for the bridge were drilled at the factory, because they were a couple of mm off to the left at least. This caused the low E string to slip off the neck constantly, while also making the guitar just feel slightly off.
I thought that the holes for the posts would need filling and re drilling, which was a scary concept to me.
But Lowell was able to remove a small amount of material from the neck pocket, add a small shim and point the neck in the right direction so that the strings finally sat where they should.
Now the guitar is perfect. And for a ridiculously reasonable price.

I had my guitar worked on by Lowell, and the improvement is fantastic! The noise issue when using overdrive is completely gone, and the overall setup feels much better. On my small amp, the 6th string sounds slightly louder than the 5th, but on my larger amp, the balance is perfect. I also noticed the strings are a bit closer to the frets than before, which I really like. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the results and enjoying playing my guitar more than ever!

I had the pleasure of entrusting my Jackson Pro Series King V to Lowell Noden at Noden Guitars, and the results were nothing short of exceptional. The guitar originally had some appalling finish flaws on the frets and neck binding, along with a dodgy transition between the neck and body paint—issues that really shouldn’t exist on an instrument of this level.

From the outset, Lowell was incredibly informative and professional, walking me through all possible repair options with the expertise of a true master luthier. His knowledge and attention to detail were evident at every step, ensuring I fully understood what could be done to bring the guitar up to standard.

The service was prompt, reasonably priced, and executed to an incredibly high standard. The end result? Flawless. The finish, fretwork, and setup were all taken to a level that comfortably rivals Jackson's American-made models. The guitar now plays and looks like an instrument from a far higher tier, and I couldn't be happier with the transformation.

If you need top-tier luthiery, precision repair work, or expert setup services, Noden Guitars is the place to go. Lowell is an absolute pro, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust him with any of my guitars in the future. Highly recommended!

These guys are simply wizards. I got in touch with Lowell, having dropped my dear Faith acoustic from height headfirst onto a tiled floor. The neck had snapped completely - like something out of a horror movie.

I had assumed it was a write-off, but Lowell replied to my desperate email with impeccable politeness to suggest an array of options for how to mend it, together with very reasonable quotes for the work.

A week later I collected my Faith in one seamless piece (I can't even feel the join), at which point I had the great pleasure of meeting Graham, who was bursting with game-changing tricks and tips for tuning and set-up.

A month on, the guitar is in the form of its life - and it's all down to these guys. Thanks again Noden Guitars!
