They seem like nice people but our solar assisted heat pump (SAHP/thermodynamics) install was a shambles from the start. First the panels were installed vertically (and blocked a view out of our window) when we specified horizontally. This was later rectified but left 6 holes in the side of our house. This was also eventually (many months later) rectified but now we have 6 dark smudges on the side of our house. From the first time it was installed it was very noisy and ran all day before it would eventually get to temperature (50C). We complained but weren’t believed until about 4 months later when they came out with a decibel reader and confirmed we were correct. The energy monitoring plug I installed myself also confirmed that something was wrong (consuming 6.5kWh per day). So they replaced the compressor unit about 6/7 months after initial install, now it runs effectively and gets to temperature in about an hour (and consumes just under 4kWh per day). However, it’s still very noisy and the vibration can be felt throughout the upstairs of the house (it’s installed in the attic). We bought a load of sound insulation out of our own pocket and it’s not helped at all. Noreus gave up on the sound issue and just gave us £500 refund. That doesn’t cut it considering we now have to live with this noise every day for the rest of our time in this house. Whilst seemingly nice people, the Noreus team had terrible communication with us and sold us a product that has not lived up to expectations. If we could go back in time we would not have installed this system and we would not have worked with Noreus. Do not purchase a solar assisted heat pump system.
