After 4 years with Calor Gas, it has taken only a few weeks with Northern Energy to realise what a good energy firm looks like. Superb, friendly customer service, prompt delivery and excellent communication. The best part though - the competitive and reasonable price per litre for the LPG. Highly recommended.

Be careful!
I received an invoice out of the blue on 30th October, for a property we had moved out 5 months ago.
I'd never heard of Northern Energy (as the landlord changed supplier after we had moved out).
Through October I then continued to get harassed for the invoice to be paid - even though invoices generally have a 28 day payment period.
The Sophie Core from the credit control team then emailed my ex-landlord trying to grass me up, saying I won't pay it and even asking for his help to get me to pay (even though the invoice was still not due for payment)!!! Absolute chancers!
I complained to one of the directors but didn't get much of a response.

Absolutely thrilled with our service so far. We have just recently switched from one of the 'big' suppliers who let us down terribly and left us with no gas during the cold snap. From the very first phone call with Northern it has been a faultless stress-free experience. We have spoken with a lovey lady who has worked for the company 27 years (a far cry from the teenagers in the call center at said 'big' company who didn't give two hoots) and we have had direct communication over the phone with Steve the owner - both fantastically helpful. Switch was seamless and within two weeks we have received gas. Very happy.
