Technical staff showed up within 45 minutes of reporting a power cut to mine and neighbours home. The team worked hard late into the night to restore our power and were professional and courteous. They even offered us a cup of tea since they had a generator and a kettle in their van!

The test of a power grid mainte company is how they perform when something goes wrong. In the past 6 years, we've had about 5 power cuts ranging from a few minutes to 3 hours. Each time Northern power have been quick to send a text message apologising and letting us know they're on it.
The power has been returned quickly and even followed up with a message explaining what happened.

Constant power cuts in my area, twice a month on average show that their
engineering capability is lacking as they fail to address root cause. This neglect led to Five full power outages in 12 hrs during the hottest day of the year. Customer neglect at its very worst. Meanwhile Ofgen or whatever pointless watchdog body sit idly by and do nothing, waste of bill payers money.

I cannot believe that Northern Powergrid think it is acceptable to cut off the electricity to businesses, whilst they upgrade the supply to a private address, when we have only just started to get back on our feet due to Covid 19. Did you not think to do this when businesses were shut in lockdown!!! Thank you for the loss of further revenue.
