I unequivocally and enthusiastically endorse Omega Electrical, lead by Connor Thompson, to anyone contemplating the installation of PV panels, inverters and/or batteries.
We needed a complex installation involving putting panels on a shed roof 300 yards from the house. The age of the house (four hundred years!) added some issues and weather at the time of installation combined to make this a heroic task!
Suffice it to say that a mere seven months after our first meeting, we have already enjoyed three months of solar power and the system works exactly as we had hoped.
At that first meeting, Connor patiently listened to our thoughts and perceived needs. He clearly outlined the options available and lead us to a robust solution for which he quoted. The proposal was very full, clear and easy to follow. Connor again answered all our questions simply and sympathetically. The price was exactly in line with other possible suppliers.
The agreed installation date was critical for several reasons and, by chance coincided with appalling weather in February 2024. This exacerbated issues caused by the site being 200 yards from the nearest hard standing resulting in all equipment and materials needing to be cross loaded to a tractor of carried to site by hand.
Undaunted the excellent team worked very hard and efficiently to complete to job on time.
Best of all the after sales service continues to be outstanding. Minor "snagging" jobs have all been completed quickly and efficiently by further team members who have been equally prompt, tidy and a delight to have on site. Connor himself remains available to answer (largely ignorant) follow on questions and to discuss possible further projects.
Altogether this has been a highly successful project which has met or exceeded our hopes in every respect due to the expertise and efficiency of Omega Electrical.
