Car ended up needing a full wet belt replacement at just over 78K miles (Gotta love Ecoboost engines eh?) along with other associated repairs after breaking down on the A1 on my way to work. RAC got the car to Tom who assessed the car the following day and provided a quote. It was an eye watering quote but considering the kind of repair it needed, only option was to carry on. Took 4 weeks but got the car back and it’s running perfectly fine after being repaired and was given some maintenance advice so I’m very grateful.

Couple of reasons I’m giving 4 stars is during the time of not having the car I tried numerous times to get an update on how the repair was going and if there was any indication on when the job would be done and got no reply unless phoning or turning up in person. I use my car to travel from my home in Bonnyrigg to my work in Haddington so naturally not having a car makes that journey rather difficult to say the least but thankfully my fiancée gave me her car to use for some of the time (much to her displeasure). Other reason is at the moment I still don’t have an invoice after specifically requesting one when I paid for the repair. Tom said text me your email address which I did there and then. It’s been 24 days since and I still don’t have it and I’ve double checked folders to see if it’s ended up in junk or spam folders and there’s nothing there. Sent an email to the garage email Thursday last week as well just so they for sure have the email address.

Very happy to have the car back and with the repair they’ve done but disappointed in the lack of communication and no invoice considering I paid £1236.18 for it (see I told you it was eye watering). The invoice is crucial to me because if I ever decide to sell the car, the invoice is my record of proof showing the timing belt has been replaced and at what mileage it was done because as of now I’m still waiting on the dealer I got the car from tracking down the service history but that’s a whole other story.

Poor service from Tom. Assured me he would a provide call back regarding fitment of a wheel bearing. Messaged him several times all ignored. If I seemed anxious as explained it's because my wife is 8 months pregnant and I need to ensure my car is road worthy to take her into hospital at a moments notice. Really odd way to run a business. Update I won't take you up on the offer, however, I appreciate the gesture of a service. Accordingly I have amended the review.

I'd hit a deer and had front end damage. Tom got the repair done really quickly after months of delays with my insurers. Not only has he done a lovely job, he even collected my car from my house. He's always been professional, friendly and his prices are very reasonable. The On The Road Again Facebook page shows the quality of the workmanship.

Tom came to the rescue when I broke down and needed a replacement driveshaft. I had called 3 different garages and they were all booked for at least the next two weeks.
On the Road Again Ltd are an absolute godsend, they were out the same day and had me back on the road within 2 days.
All the work was done right outside my house (no need to wait around in cold garages) with a polite and friendly service.
10/10 recommend, I’ll definitely be using these guys again!
