I met Danton who was very professional and also knowledgeable whilst quoting for the works at our home. Later I met with Russell who was not only informative and had a wealth of experience, he also helped to neutralise a situation where the people from the adjoining property, harassed our contractors without any reason on my partners land. I have used Oxford Installations more than once and I have always revived a top level of service. On this occasion the electrician came and made safe a nasty mess of cables. He was punctual, friendly, professional and got the work done ahead of schedule. Couldn’t ask for more really.

Never called back. Honestly, after a long history of traders never calling me back (electrician 1, tiler 1, tiler 2, electrician 2, plumber 1, painter 1, carpet fitter 1) I'm really frustrated. Communication is a basic skill of client services. If you can't do that, then we're not off to a great start.

Response to below: Incorrect. I wasn't told someone would be in touch 'later in the week'. I was told someone would call me back the day I phoned OR the day after, and I was perfectly happy with that, but neither of those things happened. I was also very transparent on the phone and said I'd had a lot of trouble with lack of response, so there was no ambiguity re the fact I'd been frustrated by this before. If you record your calls, you can hear this conversation for yourself.

But thank you for following all the key rules of professionalism: blame the customer, tweak the facts and then wrap up with a backhanded sarcastic sign off. You literally just showed everyone on Google why my review has merit.
