Our back doors had rotted and become really difficult to open and close. I reported it to paradigm, they did try replacing the handle but it made no difference the doors still weren’t functional. Within 4-5 weeks of coming back out they have put a band new set of french doors in which look amazing! Since living in this house (approx 10yrs) I have always found paradigm to be very efficient, they have never let me down so for that they deserve 5 ⭐

I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the ongoing neglect, dishonesty, and systemic failures of Paradigm Housing. Despite numerous promises and assurances, my family and my MX partners family have been repeatedly ignored, dismissed, and let down at every turn.
The most distressing incident occurred on June 10th, when a contractor responsible for blood left all over my property visited. The blood was not cleaned up, and the contractor left dangerous hazards, creating a traumatic environment for my young children—especially my seven-year-old daughter, who was deeply traumatised by witnessing the blood. To make matters worse, the contractor falsified their times, claiming they left at 5:15 pm when in fact they left around 3:15 pm—just so they could claim extra hours and money. This blatant fabrication and dishonesty are not only unprofessional but deeply unethical, especially given my vulnerable situation as a single mother caring for young children.
Since that day, I have been subjected to failed promises of callbacks, which never happen. I’ve been promised urgent contact, follow-ups, and resolution, but all I’ve received are vague emails and empty assurances. Paradigm’s repeated failure to respond or act on these promises is nothing short of neglect and deception.
Most urgently, my application for a mutual exchange is being ignored despite the critical and immediate safety concerns involved for my Mx partner. My mutual exchange partner is fleeing domestic violence and desperately needs to move for her safety and that of her children. Her circumstances are life-threatening, yet Paradigm continues to dismiss and delay her urgent request, ignoring the severe risk to her and her family’s safety. This blatant disregard for vulnerable women and children is utterly horrible.
Paradigm claims to be a charity, but their actions tell a different story. They fabricate and falsify documentation—such as the times they claim operatives leave properties—just to cover up negligence and possibly to gain more money. They care nothing about domestic violence victims like my MX partner, about helping vulnerable families like her, or about doing what’s right. Their priorities seem driven solely by profit and bureaucracy, with no regard for the people they are meant to serve.
I am deeply unhappy with the service I have received. Their treatment of young women, parents, and vulnerable families is disgraceful. They have shown no compassion, no professionalism, and no genuine concern for the safety and well-being of the people
In summary, Paradigm Housing is untrustworthy, negligent, and utterly indifferent to the needs of their tenants—especially women and families fleeing domestic violence. Their dishonesty, failure to act, and blatant neglect have caused trauma for myself and MX partner, additional risk, and suffering. I would not recommend them to anyone, especially families or individuals.
I am also distressed by the lack of meaningful communication from Paradigm, especially after previous maladministration incidents, which had previously led to formal complaints, apologies, and compensation.Moreover, I feel targeted, discriminated against, and retaliated against for making a formal complaint to the Housing Ombudsman. This perceived victimisation has further hindered my family's access to the support and resolution we desperately need.
Given the urgent circumstances and the clear evidence of ongoing concerns, I respectfully request that Paradigm Housing reconsider and accept the mutual exchange application promptly. I believe that a timely resolution is in the best interest of all parties involved, particularly considering the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals. I trust that, upon careful review of the circumstances outlined, your organisation will recognise the urgency and respond accordingly, in line with your responsibilities to support and protect your tenants.

Spoke to Chris Young about our house leak which had taken almost 2 weeks, which was going to take an additional weeks. When we spoke to him, he got an appointment for us same day in less than 20 minutes. Really grateful for his exceptional service. Thank you Chris and Thank you Paradigm.

I am a shared ownership tenant for over 19 years and already keep getting a impression that I am treated as a second class citizen. Several times I complained about their vans parking on residence only allocated parking spaces and several times they said they will sort it out, even after a long telephone conversation with them.

Several times after that I still see their vans parking on private spaces, to make it worse, even their sub contractors also park in private spaces.

They don't have the decency to show respect and take up tenant's complaints. They need to buck their ideas up.

Update-

Despite several complaints about Paradigm's vans parking on residence parking spaces:-

On 04/12/2020, one of their vans parked on my space. When I asked him to move it, he had the cheek that the spaces belong to Paradigm and he has no idea that the spaces belong to shared ownership residences.

This van driver treated me as a second class citizen and no respect whatsoever.

Now after completing to them about their vans, they are now sending unmarked vans hoping to pretend that they're not from Paradigm so won't receive a complaint from me.
They still can be seen filling their paperwork and have key entry to the flats which Paradigm workers have, do you think that you can fool me?
They must learn to show respect and be more professional.

Another update!!!! On 12/05/2022 yet another Paradigm vans has parked on our allocated parking space. THEY ARE STILL DOING IT!!!!. Had to email & phone to make another complaint again to move it.

For goodness sake tell them to show respect to the shared ownership tenants who actually owns their spaces and not to park on them.

Paradigm are still parking on our parking spaces belonging to shared ownership tenants.
Today 10/08/2022 two Paradigm vans and a silver Ford Fiesta ST parked on our spaces and stand at the back on one of the vans and do nothing but talk for 1 hour. THEY DON'T DO ANY WORK!!!!!
TOTAL DISREGARD ON OUR PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!
I keep complaining to Paradigm and still do nothing.

Another of their vans is still parking in our spaces yet again.

My complaints is still falling on deaf ears, they won't do anything unless you give then the registration numbers of their vehicles.

I even seen on of their vans parked on a allocated parking space belonging to a shared ownership property and walked off.

As to Paradigm regarding to call me to sort this problem out, NOTHING!

Another update 12/06/2023:-

Still doing it, my doorbell camera picked up two Paradigm vans at 10:05am parked on our spaces showing no respect for Shared ownership tenants.

Still doing it several times again. I am considering writing to the Housing Ombudsman Service to see to get this problem resolved.
