I was booked in for a fitter to come and fix a blown pipe on my dozer, after waiting a while I rang to see where the fitter was and was told he'll be a couple hours. Over 3 hours passed with no contact or fitter.. I rang again and was. Told he'll be 45 minutes! To be rang back again 10 mins later to say the fitters van has now broken Down and they can't make it anymore. That's one day's dozer hire lost (expensive), a man's wages and a very upset customer.. This is a company we've used for years and won't be using again. Luckily a local company came out first thing the next moring to get us going again. Not even an offer from pirtek to get us the next available fitter when one became available. Just threw the job away! Disgrace

Had a great experience here. I needed some fittings urgently. The Plymouth depot gave me what they had and Pirtek Exeter came through with the rest. They even sent an engineer to meet me halfway between both depots. Incredible service.

Needed a fairly simple fitting which they didn't have...fair enough - maybe they only deal with specialist fittings. The issue was the attitude of the member of staff. Basically he talked over me and didn't bother to listen to what I was asking him. In the end he walked off round the back while I was mid-sentence. Next time I will just go to Exeter Hose & Hydraulic.
