We had a difficult situation involving a retrospective planning application, and I’m so glad I used Planning Objections Scotland.
I can’t speak highly enough of John. His knowledge of the planning system is huge.
The objection he complied for us was enough to make others stop in their tracks and pay attention to the law, ultimately resulting in the illegal erection being removed.
I felt so much better with John acting on our behalf.

I needed to object to a part of my neighbour's planned extension, which would have had an impact on my property. Discovered that the process was not as easy as just lodging a submission - it is a minefield! Planning Objections Scotland, first provided a Checklist to help me with my objection. But I then opted for them to take on my planning objection. John talked me through the process and provided the objection report within a tight deadline. My one page letter was drowned out by an extensive report that highlighted several aspects relating to the planned extension. And also quoted planning laws and how they were being contravened (something I had no knowledge of). The result was that the Local Authority went back to my neighbours and the plans were revised. I am sure that this may not have been the outcome if the LA had received my one page letter! I cannot thank Planning Objections Scotland, and especially John, enough for their help, advice and guidance through this process. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them if required in the future.
