Pollenize are heroes of the local bee population! They do amazing research, and promote understanding of the importance of bees and pollenization. I really enjoyed being allowed to view some of their bee hives, and of course - the honey is delicious!

Pollenize are doing a great job in the community here in Plymouth. They're helping to educate people about bees, supporting relevant projects and providing us with some delicious honey! I love bees but not ready to look after my own yet so this is a lovely way of being involved.

Attended a beehive inspection with experts from the Pollenize team today. It was a fascinating insight into their work, and into what the inside of a beehive looks like! The apiarist explained everything, and was able to point out the queen bee as well as a bee “dancing” to tell the other bees about a new source of food. A fantastic opportunity, so pleased I went!

Pollenize CIC is a fantastic Plymouth-based effort dedicated to trying to reverse the devastating decline in our insect pollinators. You can sign up to support them as an individual, a business, or a school, and they also sell their own wildflowers seeds online. They are such a dedicated and passionate team, and something Plymouth can be very proud of.
