I bought a pack of 2 battery security lights (effectively torches) to mount above 2 external doors and as they were only IP44 rated I made two rain water covers. I installed the lights and noticed the second one operated in daylight and I couldn't see any adjustment so I emailed Powerbee to ask if there was a way to reset them and sent a pic before I fitted my rather natty covers. They emailed back pretty promptly saying you've installed them in a uncovered area and it's down to water ingress. They were only 5 mins out of the packet when i took the pic but after several email exchanges they were not interested. Really it's not a problem as they are only £15 each but I prefer to deal with a company doesn't treat their customers like idiots or even worse, liars. My none professional conclusions was that the lights are pretty cheaply made and probably if at all only just meet the IP44 rating they claim (does it even apply to 4.5v battery equipment?) hence the slightly overly aggressive defence of the product. So don't expect any after sales support as my experience is they're happy to take your money but don't want to know about problems!

We have only got high praise for PowerBee Ltd, their communication, service and products are second to none. On the one occasion we had an issue, Nath was on to it and sorted it straight away. It restores your faith in customer service!
We have used them a few times in the past and we will definitely be using them again in the future.

Bought a solar shed light and installed to find the sensor only works when your hand is 5cm away from the sensor. The so called customer services sent a ludicrous reply asking us why we were testing the item in the dark whilst also telling us the item only works in the dark and not in dusk or daytime conditions!

They also referred us to their 'terms and conditions' which are so prohibitive that by the time we have paid for the return (which they don't refund) and they have also applied their £5 fee for "pick, pack, dispatch, unpack, restock and inspect" and then most likely tell us that there is nothing wrong with the item we will most probably not be refunded anything.

I am not going to pay even more money out to return a poor quality cheap Chinese manufactured useless item. My bad, I should have listened to the old adage: if you want quality, you have to pay for it. Don't buy cheap stuff and expect it to do the job. But shame on a company for selling this rubbish in the first place.

Rubbish service from this company! I have now purchased 3 sets of solar string lights, all of them have stopped working after a short time, after numerous emails I was told that I was hanging them incorrectly, I therefore hung the next set as per instructed and they failed too, I emailed the company a number of times and eventually they started to ignore me! I feel I received Very poor service.

Powerbee products are brilliant. The only solar products which last all night in winter. Also, good PIR products. I now have various products all around my garden. Never have to walk around in the dark. Also feel secure from Burglars.

With a marvellous selection of Water features we found an even better one than the garden centre's had at a better price.The item looks great in the garden and works well even in low light. Delivery was super fast and ordering was pain free. Would certainly recommend and use again.

Not the cheapest but I have been disappointed in the past with some similar items.
I did some research and this was well recommended and I can see why
Easy to install with fixings provided it comes with it own USB power lead so that it can be easy charged the first time
Well made product and excellent brightness.
I was so impressed I bought 4 more.
PowerBee Ltd have been a great company to deal with and dispatch very quickly and track postage.
No negatives but I would suggest they w consider a loyalty discount scheme for returning customers.
