Promises, promises,
It all starts with the sales pitch,
We are a local company,
We have a great reputation,
We have been in the solar industry for many years,
We have vidio testimonials, yes all wonderful you may think, now hear the truth.
After all of the above we( my wife and I) agreed to go ahead with the installation of a four kilowatt solar system,as agreed we paid an up front payment for works to commence, and as agreed the system was installed and seemed to be working fine, that is where the service ends.
We made full payment of the remaining money's and were then dumped of the deep end,in a very short time we noticed that one of our new pannels seemed to be a different colour to the rest,we tried to contact PURE ECO but got a strange message about leaving a message in a post box or something like that?, which we did to no avail,we then contacted the installer who asked for photos, which we sent,he then said that it may right itself in time and he would get it checked, guess what,it never happened!!also it took around 5 months to sort out paperwork which I was told would all be sorted on complesion of the installation, paperwork that we had to chase and chase and chase, more phone calls, more strange mail box thingy, when, finally we managed to sort the paperwork which should have all been done so we could start getting the feed in tariff as soon as the system started producing power,we were told,by our electricity company,SORRY BUT WE CAN ONLY PAY FROM THE DATE THE PAPERWORK WAS COMPLETED, around 8 months after the installation, great,so we lost 8 months worth of feeding tariff, more calls, same weird answer.
I then decided as a final act to contact the installer, who did get back to me and was told that we would be re paid the missing money's,yeh we thought ,at last ,and then nothing,by now we are getting used to this gave up and resided ourselves to the fact that PURE ECO SYSTEMS are a bunch of second class 1980s double glazing sales men(you will understand if you go back that far),and now the final straw,I recently had our inverter moved to a new location because of a change of use in the building were it was located,I am a builder so decided to use my electrician of many years to do the job and what he found was unreal!when he disconnected the isolation switch one Bank of pannels wasn't even connected properly, the incoming wire was completely burnt out so not only no feed in tariff, but only half the production we should be getting,so if you are thinking about solar,do not be fooled by slick sales talk and do not use PURE ECO SYSTEMS they are not the company they say they are,you have been warned.
