Best service for local delivery, a great selection of wine and a lovely team.

I wanted to buy my friend a present from a local (to her) small business and I was surprised and delighted to come across Quaff.

They have such an extensive selection and a really easily filterable website. I found what I was looking for really quickly. We benefitted from very speedy and personal local delivery. They even put the note on my gift for me. Really 10/10 service.

Best wine and beer shop in Brighton. Lovely staff and great selection. As an IPA cynic, I'm in love with their classy central European lager collection; and they're always happy to guide me on the wine side of things. They also let me in when they were just about to close last week, when I was on an emergency booze run.

Really poor service by staff that don’t know the stock. Been in a few times asking about vegan wines and indicated types of wines I like but simply received a blank look. The wines are over priced and so it would be good to have staff in there that can advise so you know you’re going to get a great wine for the money you are paying. I even took my dog in, as it’s meant to be dog friendly, and one of the women who work there jumped back and appeared very uncomfortable. We won’t be returning until some of the staff do their homework.

I can’t recommend Quaff and their staff enough.

We’re fortunate to live very close to Quaff, and visit it at least once a week, so we’ve got to know the team there very well.

They’re always helpful, polite and have been really welcoming during the pandemic, particularly bearing in mind how busy they were when the pubs were closed.

We often go in undecided as to exactly what we want to drink, and are always happy with the suggestions that are made to us. I genuinely can’t think of a wine or beer that we’ve drunk from there that we haven’t enjoyed.

A must stop in Fiveways. Friendly service and an amazing selection of wine, beer and spirits. The knowledge of the staff is really impressive and their recommendations always deliver. It’s also great to see an eclectic range of high quality wines at an affordable price.

Such a nice shop, a great selection of beers, and really lovely staff. My partner and I came here recently, and we enjoyed talking to the person behind the counter about which beers they’d recommend. Great experience and great beer!

I love it here! Much as I like to drink nice wine, I can't be faffed with all the research and the staff at Quaff always find me something wonderful after a brief chat about what I like.
I come here every Christmas to get a mixed crate for the family and they're always impressed with the variety and quality.

You really do need to store and display your beer cold. Lots of cans warming on shelves in here. For hoppy beers this is the kiss of death. On more than one occasion I have bought cans and they have tasted rather stale due to them warming on the shelf.

Most cans clearly state. Keep Cold. Please do this. The beer deserves it.

Otherwise, a very decent selection of local and further afield craft beer and a brill selection of wines.

Just chill that beer, man.
