We recently had our lounge and bedroom soundproofed in a new build link-detached property which is approx. two years old. We initially contacted Quietco in December 2020 and in January 2021, Jim came to our property for a consultation. After months of deliberation and the struggles we were having with unwanted impact noise from our neighbours (which included children running/jumping at all times in the day/night, wardrobes and windows being slammed shut and heavy footsteps etc), we decided to take the plunge and go ahead with the project. The work recently completed in December 2021 and it was to an exceptionally high standard with the whole team working tirelessly throughout the month-long project.

The whole process from the initial consultation, emails back and forth to Jim, to the actual project starting was seamless and totally stress free! Quietco managed our project from start to finish and we used their electrician, plumber and carpet fitter so everything was taken care of. Jim and his team were professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure they put the Customer first. No job was any trouble for Quietco! The Customer Service was second to none and it was great to see the project from start to finish – working from home was an added bonus! You really appreciate all the hard work that goes into soundproofing.

The Installation Team of Nick, Sam and Tom made time to answer any questions and kept us updated with what they had done. They also sent us progress photos within our WhatsApp group throughout the day and at the end of each day, they left the areas they were working in extremely clean and tidy ready for the next day.

It has been two months now since our project finished and we are really pleased to say that we no longer hear much of the impact noises that were previously a nuisance. The sound we do hear is quite minimal compared to before so it has made a HUGE difference. The noise rarely disrupts our day and we no longer feel stressed! The investment is well and truly worth it to stay in the home we love. Quietco gave us our lives back!!
We brought our first home, the house we thought we could live in forever in August 2020. Soon after moving in we realised how much noise was transmitted through from next door. Our neighbours had 3 children and a badly behaved dog. The banging, screaming and shouting became unbearable, we moved out of the master bedroom into the smaller back room and very very rarely used out living room. We could make out conversations, what TV show they were watching and who was in which room of their house. The noise was absolutely unbearable and they would leave their large dog to bark for hours. After several attempts at polite conversations and even the local council intervention, we realised our neighbours did not care and would intentionally bang on the walls and scream to provoke us. We looked into moving but could not afford anything similar in the area. So that is where quietco came in. Jim came and looked at the house and highlighted the areas that needed the sound proofing. His team arrived within a few weeks and got started. They found holes in our suspended floor that required 6 bricks to fill in! From start to finish Jim's team were absolutely incredible! So clean, tidy and courtious! If it wasn't for the progress in the sound proofing each day you would not have thought they had been there as everything was imacculate. Sam and Daz are an absolute asset to the company!
Since the day they left we have been able to use our living room every day. We can no longer hear conversations or their television, the banging is almost non existant and we can't even tell if the neighbours are in our out! Quietco truly transformed our lives.
I was reading testimonials, debating whether to take the risk or just sell our house and move back with parents. I read a testimonial that said "if you are debating whether to do it or not, just do it!" so to anyone reading this... Do it!! You will truley not be disappointed! I thought the reviews were too good to be true but they aren't, I haven't seen one negative review and on a follow up conversation with Jim, I couldn't find a single negative about our experience either!
Quietco is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working with and my mental health and happiness has improved tenfold since our soundproofing journey! This was the first sound proofing project we did. It seemed it bit daunting at first after looking online at the various different solutions that were out there. So from searching for a local soundproofing firm we came across Jim at Quietco Ltd. We used him for an hour consultation to convert a detached house into 2 semi's. From start to finish they were brilliant. We were given easy to understand expert advice which allowed us to carryout the works ourselves as we are in the building trade. Also because we're living in one of the semi's ourselves we wanted to go for a more solid sound proofing solution. After the consultation we had a clear idea of what needed to be done and what sort of output we would get from it. Jim also sourced some of the materials to us that we needed to sound proof a toilet waste pipe as it ran along the hall way ceiling which we wrapped insulated and boxed out. Today we had the sound test carried out from Quietco Ltd and it passed well over the required guidelines. So would highly recommend Jim and his team to anyone seeking advise or work to sound proof there homes.

I first consulted with Quietco a year before the construction of my drum room. They advised me on the most appropriate materials to build the outer shell of the studio, in order to optimise the soundproofing, prior to the room within a room being built, and they were only too happy to engage with me to support the initial build. I really valued the ongoing consultation as it assisted in shaping the whole project. They provided a detailed schedule of the build of the inner drum room and this was stuck to completely.
