Reformenergy provided an amazing and professional service from start to finish.

For us they removed our old night storage heaters and installed a complete new air source heat pump, water tank and radiators.

The service was exactly what we expected after looking around at the industry and training bodies like Heatgeeks. First they came and did a survey of the house and measured everything so they could perform heat loss calculations allowing them to design the system to meet our needs.

This design stage is what sets plumbers and heating engineers apart, and also gives this technology a bad name. Without this design, the system will not work effectively.

Once all was accepted, the installation was smooth with great communication.

We are in the colder part of the year now with the heating coming on, and all I can say is the house has never been as warm or had such hot water before.

Due to the great design work our system is running around 4.9-5.5 scop depending if it is heating water or not. This means our system is at least 490% efficient turning every 1kw of electricity into 4.9kw of heat, which compared to gas which is about 90% efficient.

Quick, efficient, and high quality install of a Vaillant heat pump from the team at Reformenergy. Took the time to design the system in the most efficient way which meant returning to balance and commission the system properly rather than take the easier option and just fit and forget which I’ve heard stories of other installers doing. This means we get a ridiculously efficient system that is cheap to run and will be for the next 20 years, as well as a house that is thermally stable and far more comfortable than with our old gas boiler. Every house is different but because of the design, handover instructions, and time of use tariffs, our hot water/heating bill has dropped by a third (even more if you consider the additional use of our own solar generation) and we no longer have main gas (or the standing charge for it) at our property.
