The purchase of our Air Source Heat Pump was excellent from the initial consultation to the finished installation. Each staff member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and alleviated any anxieties about the big change to heating our house. The survey was excellent and we received a fully detailed drawing and document of the planned installation.The team of installers worked hard giving respect to our home and leaving it clean and tidy with excellent workmanship. At the end a clear explanation was given on managing the system with a willingness to take time answering our questions. Excellent is the only adjective I have for this company!

Two and a half years experience with a heat pump from Regen Renewables

After an initial survey in October 2021 our heat pump was fitted together with a bespoke hot water tank (due to limited space in our attic) in March 2022. The fitters worked efficiently and considerately and were amenable to minor changes during the process.

The heat pump replaced a domestic heating oil boiler for our 4 bedroom detached house. We have been very pleased with our functioning system -it works! It is reasonably quiet even when working hard in the winter and produces plenty of hot water and supplies all of our radiators very effectively. It's difficult to judge cost due to other changes we have made - not least EV charging. (though cost was not our major reason for installing a pump).

One unexpected side-effect was the ability to redesign the garden once the oil tank was removed.

We had an excellent response to an early problem caused by sludge in the heating pipes which was resolved quickly and has not recurred.

Cons: It's not cheap to install

Our experience of Regen installing a heat pump has been excellent. Everybody from the company we have meet have been knowledgeable, pleasant and have acted in a professional manner. We are very happy with the new installed system which performs just as we were told it would. During the initial period of our getting use to the new system the after-care service could have been a bit more reactive although any concerns or issues we had were resolved. From our experience we would have no hesitation in recommending Regen.

Very smooth installation by James, Dylan and the electrician (James). The 2 installation engineers were friendly and efficient and tidied up well. The electrician found an inventive way of connecting the heat pump with no visible wiring in the house. We had to wait an extra couple of days for a radiator to be fitted as the wrong one had been supplied. James went on to explain how the system worked and how to get the best out of it before leaving.

Regen installed our heat pump in 2021, replacing an oil fired boiler. The work required several new radiators and a hot water tank. We were happy with the work carried out, and our house has been much warmer as a result. The Company have carried out annual services without any problems. We have had a few problems with the app controlling the system, but these have always been resolved satisfactorily for which we are grateful to Edgar. All in all we are happy to have made the switch and have no hesitation in recommending the Company.

Prior to the installation they carried out a thorough survey to make sure our property was suitable. Every aspect was looked at to make sure we had an efficient system. Thoroughly impressed with our experience with Regen Renewables. We had an 8kW Samsung Quiet heat pump installed and it genuinely is really quiet. Sometimes you can't even tell it's running unless you put your head in front of the fan and feel the cold air on your face!

From Edgar's initial discussion and the thoroughness of his survey, I felt that we were in safe hands. Alisdair and Peter worked so hard over a 2-day installation to get it all done on time, but always with calm assurance and a determination to do a really neat job of it too (they succeeded!) They were super friendly and happy to answer my many questions or admit if there was something they didn't know, which I appreciated.

They (and the electrician & apprentice who briefly joined them on Day 2) also accommodated several requests we had, such as routing cables from the existing consumer unit and invisibly up through an internal wall. We were keen to ensure we'd still be able to fit shelves for towels in the cylinder cupboard, which worked out great, and they routed pipes and capped the gas supply such that we could fit a new cupboard where the old boiler had been.

We have had a few minor teething problems since the installation, but all have been fixed quickly and professionally. None of them have affected the heat pump's ability to keep our house lovely and warm through the coldest weather this winter (-5 degrees yesterday, which it handled with ease).

I'm generally quite critical of work done in our home and there are a few tradespeople I'd never leave a good review for, or go near again, but I'd have no reservations in recommending Regen Renewables to anyone considering switching to a heat pump (and you really should!)
