I was first introduced to Matt Wilden as he reviewed my GC index scores and explained what this meant for me and my overall innate work characteristics, which was incredibly insightful and helpful. For the last 3 years, Rencai has been a strategic partner to our business and I can say with confidence that I can attribute a portion of my professional growth over the last couple years to my mentor and confidant, Matt Wilden. I feel that Matt was able to uncover early on my willingness to put in the work and my competitive drive. With that, my personal growth was in my own hands, and he could push me to drive the innovate results I was seeking faster. I really appreciate Matt’s honesty with me. I find him insightful and relatable too. These are attributes that really allowed me to establish trust and openness with Matt early on.
Lastly, having been a leader involved in several phases of operational design with the support of Rencai, we are better positioned for scale based on their recommendations and OpEx training.

I have had the pleasure to work with Matt from Rencai from two perspectives, firstly as a candidate and then as a recruiting manager whilst building my team.

I was not looking for a new role when Matt approached me but he matched my aspirations and experience with the perfect opportunity at the British Council. As a candidate the whole process was seamless, the support provided was great and I felt thoroughly prepared going into the interview process.

Once in post I needed to build a team of process improvement professionals, this was not an easy task needing to find experienced Lean/Six Sigma people that wanted to work in the non-profit space but despite budget constraints Rencai took on the challenge. I now have my team in place and they are already adding value to our organisation. Matt continues to check on how things are going with both myself and my new recruits, in fact their feedback has been that Rencai is the best Recruitment Consultancy they have ever worked with.

Very early on in the conversations we had with Matt and Beth we knew we wanted to work with Rencai. They asked all the right questions to find out what our specific requirements were, and quickly understood that our company culture is at the forefront of everything we do.

We have been working with Rencai for around 9 months. We signed up to their Engagement Programme thinking they would support us through a series of Engagement surveys and help provide some focus to our People Strategy but the truth is they have supported us in so many other areas that I don’t know how I could have performed my role without them. His business experience coupled with his natural intuition has made him a value support mechanism for me in a stand alone HR Manager role. Of all the recruitment companies I have dealt with in the UK, Rencai has been the best one by a mile.

They really make an effort to understand your profile and experience, and are proactive in finding real job opportunities where you can be a good fit and develop further.

One thing I really appreciate is in the way Rencai works is communication. You know where things stand, you know in advance when an interview might be scheduled, and they share very good tips to prepare the interviews.

The jobs we discussed were of outstanding quality for top organizations, and even if in the end I made up my mind to go elsewhere, I was relieved to be finally treated with respect and consideration as both a human being and a professional.

I regret to say that has not been the case with most recruitment companies I encountered in the UK, and I know what I am talking about since there are successful senior recruiters in my close family.
