I was served by Sam and wow his customer service was amazing, bent over backwards to get me the best deal and best solution for my needs possible. He followed up with a call later on as he had reconfigured my HIFI setup and wanted to give me some options.
Really recommend this place as all the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Good advice and friendly - was served by Steve who was patient even though they were closing up. As they pointed out, don't try to park at a loading slot in the street. I avoided a ticket by runnning out. Should have gone to the car park around the corner in the first place. Maybe they could provide a trolley as hifi kit can be heavy. Lloyd

I cannot praise this outlet highly enough, particularly the support that I got from John, when recently upgrading my TV.
Not only did he deliver the new TV, but also took the old one away, including the packaging.
Unfortunately, there was a fault with the first TV, so it was exchanged for another make. Again, John came to the rescue with some input from Ben, and left me an extremely satisfied customer.
This is customer service at its absolute best.

Firstly I have to commend both Richer Sounds as a company and specifically their Maidstone branch.

4 years ago I purchased a fairly run of the mill Phillips TV from richer sounds in the rough 350-450 range with their 6 year guarantee, used it sparingly for 4 years however one day, towards the the end of the warranty, the TV did not turn on and after a lot of time troubleshooting with Phillips, it was decided their wasnt anything that could be done.

After a quick conversation with Richer sounds, they kept to their word and stood by their 6 year guarantee and arranged for a repair in the coming days. The repair company called and said they didnt have the part and Richer Sounds needed to be contacted once more.

On the phone to Richer Sounds the lovely chap offered me compensation in the form of a giftcard of well over 50% of the value of a 4 year old base spec 50 inch tv. I was very pleased with the outcome and said thank you and I will use it at some point.

Upon a perusal of the Richer Sounds Bargain Clearance section, my local store in Maidstone had a 50 inch Panasonic TV for £280 that certain storefronts who shall remain nameless are trying to punt for £500.

So on my travels I set out to acquire said bargain of the day and have a very happy ending to this whole experience.

Walking out of the store with only handing over £75 for a £500 TV I was rather smug....

However I came home to find the TV had an issue, a swift call to the Maidstone branch and they said thats fine, were profusely apologetic and asked me to bring it back in the next morning at 9:30am (it was 4:55pm)

After a rather spirited drive through certain parts of Kent, I arrived at their Maidstone Store and within a 5 minute window I was offered 2 tv's of far greater value than the £280 tv I had just purchased and free home delivery, after a quick run through of the models I settled on the correct one for myself and booked delivery which is just about to happen.

Throughout the whole process Richer Sounds as a company have been spot on, in a world of dodgy dealings and moody business principles it is great to see a stalwart of the high street stand so proud and offer such a great service at great prices.

Richer sounds Maidstone branch staff were all spot on, friendly, helpful, knowledgable and courteous, they couldnt do anymore to help me.

Sadly I am useless with names and their is a few I need to praise but I hope someone at head office sees this and buys the branch lunch or a few pints as your store in Maidstone is a great reflection of your brand.

You have a customer for life (albeit not a very good one who only buys budget TV's for £400) but I will wax lyrical to anyone who will listen.
