I have had a Roamer 460 since September last year. It replaced 4x110ah lead acid batteries. Now I have over twice the capacity. I can go 10 days on battery power without having to charge. The Roamer battery is half the weight of the old batteries, and such a joy to have. The built in Battery Management System is a godsend in cold weather or just protecting the battery from low charge etc. Dealing with Roamer was just so easy. Lovely people with an understanding of vanlife and willingness to help. A real pleasure to deal with!! I have looked at so many other lithium battery suppliers, but none can hold a torch to Roamer.

I was just about to do the electrics on my van conversion on my own when I saw a good deal on a lithium battery at Roamer. I then discovered the video consultation service with design wiring schematic. Roamer also provided all components at a competitive price. I definitely saved myself a lot of time/hassle with Steve's help. There were a few questions during the build I needed answering and it was great to be able to email/call and get advice. I went for a consultation with Steve (money well spent) and he not only gave me awesome advice and the benefit of his experiences with the products living off grid in the alps, but also produced me an electrical design showing me how everything fits together. Highly recommended!

First: had to replace the BMS as battery would cut out with engine stop/start. All handled well and sorted, thank you. Second: the app was showing over 200amps remaining on a 100amp battery. App seems to have been updated now and shows a true reading. Third: seems good value against other offerings. Overall I'd recommend the product and service provided.

Made a massive difference to how I use the van and haven’t used mains hook up since fitting it; I chose the 200Ah under the seat version. My new professionally converted van (Ford Torneo Custom LWB) came with a 110Ah lead acid battery and I could only have the fridge on full (love ice cubes!) for a couple of days. Now it can last a week without moving (with 100W solar assistance) and obviously pretty much indefinitely if I’m moving around, via the 20A charging of the CTEK D250SE. I replaced the CTEK non-lithium D250 version to make sure the battery was well looked after.
It fits under the seat fine height wise, though I needed to move some electrical gubbings around it to fit in width wise. The M8 bolt attachments were chunkier than the previous battery so I have replaced the ends with beefier lugs. My Roamer is the 2021 version so I downloaded the third party Bluetooth app to keep an eye on the charging /discharging and can switch off the battery if needed.
Overall certainly not cheap but I’m very pleased with it and would buy one again if I swapped vans. Means I can be off grid for a pretty long time. PS don’t judge my wiring, it’s neater now!

Saw an advert for their new super duper 460ah Lithium ion battery with a 10 year warrenty for £1755.

Ordered one for delivery end of May ( ready for my trip to Glastonbury where I'll be selling hot food, cold drinks & letting ladyees wash & blow dry their hair & charge their phones )
I have a Renology 3000watt inverter and need such a product.

Roamer have been superb in dealing with my myriad questions ( although to be fair to me it is a big investment )

But today I got an email saying because of Covid, Ukraine & subsequent supply chain issues the battery will not be delivered until after I return from Glastonbury.

I phoned Chris/Steve straight away & they remembered I was going to Glasto ; they immediately offered me two 210 ah batteries at an ex trade show saving of £550.
I jumped at the offer knowing that they have nearly a hundred orders for the stock due in.

What more can one ask ; a G8 product at a fantastic price with a superb customer service.

As a DIY campervan converter, i cannot recommend them highly enough.
