I really like this store. I always find everything I need there. The staff is always quick to help. Today, in the store in Brig , Luda helped me choose paint for the radiator. Very polite and attentive. Thank you!

Rude old man behind the till. Extremely unhelpful, was unpleasant to deal with the moment I walked in. Wouldn’t even say hello, had a face of a slapped arse and was giving me attitude for no reason, furthermore did not help me at all with what I needed. Was sulky and was extremely unprofessional and gave off some what aggressive vibes, do not recommended and based on other reviews it sounds like they dealt with the same old bloke. Made me feel extremely unwelcome and just as if I’d ruined his day when I was simply trying to make a foreign transfer and add money in his pocket, I feel as if he did just didn’t like me based on my appearance because I was nothing but polite to this sulky old man and he should know better then to treat any customers with that little respect when running a business. If you need help with sending money abroad, DO NOT COME HERE.

My wife and I had the misfortune to shop at this store last week.

Upon reaching the till with our goods we were greeted by a very loud man who asked my wife if we had a mydyas loyalty card. My wife replied that we did not to which the man replied rather aggressively " well why not?"

Before I could open my mouth to tell him that my wife and I choose not to have our details shared with multiple companies he bellowed " Shall I solve that for you then?"

I am not sure if this fellow regards himself as the Hercule Poirot of the retail world, solving the "problem ' of customers who do not wish to have a store card thrust upon them but we both found him to be pushy, aggressive and off putting.

When my wife and I go shopping we simply wish to enjoy some time browsing and to be served politely if we make a purchase.

We left this store feeling as though we had both been harassed by an aggressive snake oil salesman in a morroccan medina.

We will not be shopping here again.

I was helped today by the red-haired girl (I forgot to ask her name) and she was so incredibly sweet and helpful. I saw her being super chatty and helpful with other customers too. I will definitely try to shop at Robert Dyas more because she just left such a good impression on me.

Rude and aggressive. I asked a member of staff to ‘unlock’ an item that I wanted to buy (they lock items upstairs as they clearly have theft problems-staff to lazy to be upstairs?). When she admonished me for trying to take the item-very expressive on ‘I told you I was going to get the magnet’, I explained that she was rude and I did not want the item any more. A rather aggressive male colleague then chipped in that she was not being rude and attempted to intimidate me by his close presence. So, no marks for customer service and it won’t be long before RD goes the way of other high street shops.
