Working with Sam has led to dropping 2 dress sizes, but it is what I’ve gained that is important.
Nutritionally I’ve been fine and consistent. The hard work was dealing with the body image and food issues that I have had my entire life. The food noise and guilt has significantly reduced, the perfectionism that I measured my worth by has become self compassion and my aim of being neutral about my body seems less out of reach. The reduction in constant worry about food and body has made room for much more important things in my life.
I can’t thank Sam enough for the coaching and support. No shame, no judgement, just working through things at your own pace and riding the ups and downs the journey brings!

Life changing might sound a little overkill but that’s exactly what this year working with Sam has been!
Coming into it as fairly new dad, minimal sleep, eating my feelings, minimal movement, I was feeling at my worst mentally and physically! Sam has taught me that mindset is everything, food isn’t the enemy and moderation really is the answer!
Exercise is now part of my life, I go to the gym out of enjoyment and to feel better rather than a goal of results and I can now have food without guilt and binging which is huge!
I’m feeling the best version of myself for my family and I can’t thank Sam enough. He so approachable, understanding and his knowledge and passion for his work is amazing.

Sam teaches a healthy approach to eating. Before I felt I had to be strict with what and how I ate food, often labelling foods as bad, leading to guilt when eating. Sam teaches a balanced relationship with food. In friendly video calls he explains the rationale and science behind eating well and encourages change in manageable steps. He also offers a work out program tailor-made to your lifestyle and needs.
My overall goal was to improve gut health which Sam worked on with me and I am pleased to say saw a huge improvement within a few months. My whole approach to eating has been less guilt driven since working with Sam and more about making better choices. It has changed my relationship with food, exercise and my gut health for the better.

Before I started with Sam, I was diagnosed with Lipoedema, a painful medical condition that also means I can't lose fat in certain areas of my body. It completely wiped out the little body-confidence I had, and I was in a rut mentally. I was a very active person but I struggled when it came to my diet and fuelling myself properly.
Working with Sam transformed and rebuilt the way I think about my body, food, and exercise. I began to focus on wanting to get the correct nourishment from food and I learnt things like how much protein and fibre I need daily. Sam also helped me to think of working out in the gym as a way of strengthening my body for hiking and the sport I take part in.
I would 100% recommend Sam's coaching to anyone. He's also just a really decent human being! Thanks for everything Sam!

What a journey it has been! I went into this coaching thinking I needed some new diet to lose weight quickly, but I was so wrong. Sam has taught me a health first approach, where I have naturally felt better and dropped clothes sizes without feeling hungry and whilst fuelling my body in the healthiest way. I honestly had to change so much and trust the process as it was a far different approach to any I have tried before (I don’t weigh myself every week now!). I still have days which I would have called fail days in the past, and now I enjoy them and get back to my more nutritious eating the following day without the guilt and without the weight gain! It’s changed my relationship with food and I am still learning everyday following the techniques Sam has given me. He’s always there to ask questions if you are unsure too which is great. Your passion for all things health and nutrition shines through Sam and makes everything you say so much more meaningful. Thanks again for everything, at a time in my life that I needed it most.

The nutrition and lifestyle advice and support I wish I’d known about years ago! Sam’s coaching has been incredible, and it really has gone beyond ā€œjustā€ learning about food (though this alone has been so empowering!). The application of evidence bases, psychology and compassion has laid the much needed foundation for sustainable and enjoyable change - something I didn’t anticipate after years of feeling stuck in a cycle of dieting and ā€œfailingā€, and all of the guilt and shame that brings.
