They also took away the old cooker all at a great price. First class service from Sampsons Domestic Appliances Ltd, in Dawlish. Having had the runaround from the manufacturer when my integral fridge freezer packed in, I truly appreciated the remarkably prompt and efficient response on calling Sampsons - an established local family firm - who delivered unsurpassable customer service. Within 24 hours I had a brand new fridge freezer installed, with minimum fuss. They had the newest Blomberg model I wanted in stock (with VitaminCare+ technology LED coloured lights, to preserve fruit and veg) and also took over registering it to ensure I secured the benefit of the free five year extended warranty. During the same visit, Rod, the friendly and knowledgeable installer/engineer, also quickly located a faulty part in my defunct Hotpoint washing machine - and a new part was ordered and fitted within 48 hours. No need to replace it, as feared.
Excellent value for money and Sampsons are now my first port of call for any future electrical appliance needs. Thank you Sampsons. You made supporting your reliable, fair and genuine local business an absolute pleasure.

During the last 12 months we have tried our best to support more of our local businesses. Sampsons in Dawlish are one of the businesses we have used. Last year they removed our built-in dishwasher and fitted a new one. This month they delivered and fitted a new washing machine for us. Each time they were extremely efficient. Friendly and helpful to deal with, great value for money, really good selection of products on offer and a superb level of customer service. We were kept informed on delivery times to allow us to pop home from work rather than taking a whole day off, which was very much appreciated. We've placed orders by phone and also through their website and can't fault the service we received either way. We would highly recommend them.

I've lived in Dawlish since Dec 2011 but I'd never actually entered this shop before today. And all this time, I'd missed out on the experience of enjoying the reassurance and the benefit of having the stress removed of buying a new w/machine. Great service from Sampsons. I phoned yesterday to ask them to come and repair my washing machine. They said they would be here this morning and arrived at 8.45am.

It turned out that there wasn't a fault with the machine after all, I thought there was something stuck in the drum but apparently drums on newer machines don't spin freely like the old ones did! The engineer was very good about it and didn't charge me.

I can't recommend them highly enough. I'll definitely make Sampsons my first port of call for repairs and replacements in future.
