Positives - Room was clean, bed was VERY comfortable. Good shower. |Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice, my kids loved the waffle maker, and there was lots of choices (including for vegetarians). Staff were friendly and helpful. Shoutout to the lovely waitress at breakfast who got my kids chocolate milk when we asked. |Great location, by the waterfront, and perfect for walking into city centre, we walked to Rosenborg, botanical gardens, Tivoli, and Amalienborg amongst other places. ||Negatives - Room was quite small, we had the sofa bed made up as family of 4, and there was not much floor space around the beds. |No room facilities, would have been nice to have a kettle, biscuits etc.

Relatively newly built hotel, in the middle of town. The hotel has fantastic potential. They offer their guests every conceivable facility. You can see that they made an effort to make the guests' stay memorable. In addition to that, the hotel is fantastic with a view of the city and water. You have walking distance to the center and lots of restaurants. If you come by car, there is an easily accessible parking garage. The rooms are large and bright with comfortable beds. The breakfast is as it should be at a hotel in this price range...||However, this hotel suffers from logistical problems, probably the staff and everything else are not "up to speed".... check-in took forever, the breakfast was a bit chaotic. Seemed like they didn't understand that picking up dishes from the tables is critical if guests are going to be able to sit somewhere.||The list can be made long with areas for improvement. But most likely this is initial problem, which will get better with time.....hopefully...

Had a lovely stay at Scandic Spectrum. Hotel is a 10 min walk from Copenhagen Central Station and in a lovely position next to the river, very quiet at night which is something we look for. Walkable to all main attractions that we wanted to visit. |I read many reviews about issue with lights/blinds/air con but we had absolutely no issue with this-in fact it was easy! There’s a guide on the wall explaining it all. |Also prior to visiting I was concerned about the number of reviews mentioning difficulties booking breakfast-we had no issues, Qr code in room to scan, we ate breakfast at 9am each morning and had no problems getting this time slot, yes it was busy ( I believe danish schools were also on holiday this week along with some uk) but there was lots of staff clearing and cleaning tables and replenishing food. Breakfast was of good standard. |Overall we had a lovely stay, hotel is clean, modern and central. I would return to this hotel if we were to visit Copenhagen again.

Here are the positives, modern, well located and you can walk everywhere from the hotel, water front, great breakfast buffet. However, if you are accustomed to a full service hotel this is not the place for you. No bottled water in the room, no room service provided, in the month of October (and I was told all throughout low season) the restaurant is not open for lunch, no one to help you with your bags, and bag storage is do it yourself for a fee. Only a handful of channels available on the TV and all in Danish. So, depending on the type of traveler you are this could be a great place to stay or a big No.

Good, fresh facilities quite central and close to the bus or even walking distance to the city center.

Great rooms with all amenities in the bathroom. No mini bar/fridge in the room.
Iron and safety box available.

Very good breakfast (one of the best!) but it was very busy. You had to choose a time innan app, but no one was checking at the breakfast reception or welcoming guests or escorting to a table. All tables were full and hard to find a spot event for 2 people. We were a group of 8 and was very hard to find a table. Otherwise the breakfast options were great!

Not the best service at the hotel reception. They could be more service minded.

Also no luggage room, you have to rent a digital locker in their garage and pay for it!

Me and my friend booked a room at Scandic Spectrum for a weekend in København.

➕ It is close to many attractions. We did not take any local transport because most of the things we wanted to do and see - we could just walk.
➕The hotel looked and felt clean.
➕The receptionists were very friendly.
➕ The room had an empty minibar which is an absolute plus when staying at hotels to keep private drinks cold.
➕Also a lot of different things to choose between at the breakfast.

➖I know not every hotel has windows that can open, but I always get super happy when they have. And this hotel did not have windows that could open. There is something about having the opportunity to air out the room.

All in all a good hotel to stay at for the weekend.

This was our first stay here (we've used the Scandic hotel in Roskilde) & we absolutely loved it! Friendly, attentive staff greeted us & the room we were assigned was excellent, lots of extras & despite other reviews in here we found it had ample room! We ate in the restaurant on our first night & the food was of the highest quality! The (free) breakfast was also of a very high standard & set up our day perfectly! The hotel is near to the city & only took us 10 minutes to get there! We will undoubtedly come here again!

The hotel is huge by number of rooms. They need to open up are 3-4 breakfast areas in the hotel. The self service waffle is lovely. The room was quite nice and spacious for the family of 3. Room cleanup is only performed upon request in advance. Swimming pool closes during lunch time. Try to cross the street and plunge into the nature on the other side of the road. The hotel itself is located in a great walking distance to the city center and the central station.
