Chris and his team at Scottish Energy Saving provided me with great technical expertise and we agreed on a SAHP as the solution for my particular issue in converting a large property with a heating system and no centralised hot water. Their friendly service and can-do attitude meant that the attic install (not the easiest of manouvres) went relatively smoothly. A subsequent issue was satisfactorily resolved with Chris's intervention. He knows his stuff! Several years on and the SAHP has never not provided us with ample piping hot water and it uses minimum power resources. What not to like?

Having decided that we would benefit from solar panels as part of our drive for energy efficiency, we got in touch with three possible suppliers but decided on Scottish Energy Saving as they were very competitive and, as a bonus also local. Chris eloquently explained the installation parameters using graphs etc. and this was carried out efficiently with little disturbance to our daily routine.The other benefit is that SES also installed a solar assisted water system at the same time which gives us virtually free hot water, particularly when the sun shines, ,employing a battery storage system. Chris has been available ongoing for all our queries and updates.

Chris from SES designed a solar and battery system for our property tailored to our needs. A professional pack was sent to us before agreeing to the installation. The installation tool 2 days and was carried out professionally, with no mess left behind. We have been really pleased at the results of the system and find the phone app easy to use and understand. I called Scottish Energy to discuss why sort of SAHP would best meet my needs. The team were extremely helpful and from order to installation was only 4 with Christmas in between. We’ve had our solar panel and battery system in for one month Oct/Nov 24. Design, discussion and organisation was great. Installation was very quick and to a high standard - so we are very happy with the system, quality of equipment, high quality workmanship by professionals (I’m a spark to trade and this was a top quality install). We’ve saved a great deal on our electricity consumption already, so it’s definitely worth it considering the time of year, short days! Overall 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Update April 2025 - well, the performance of our solar battery system is much better than expected. Our electricity energy bill for mid February/March was zero!!! This was for a period of mixed weather conditions, lots of cloudy days too. So the verdict to date is very positive. Our energy supplier is refunding a substantial amount of our credit and our monthly payments are substantially lower, we are heating our hot water using excess electricity generation instead of using gas! Longer days now so my advice is , go fot it.
What’s not to like? 6 stars now 🤩🤩🤩

Scottish Energy Saving provided a prompt and efficient service. We had a solar assisted heat pump installed for hot water, a battery to store solar energy and an EV charger. The work was carried out with minimal disruption.

The gallery I managed in Glasgow had only ineffective and inefficient heating until I had an infrared system installed. Now the gallery is "as warm as toast".
