Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Sharing my experience everywhere I can.
Been a customer for several years no problems. Recently received a letter stating I owe them £825 in debt which they will begin taking at £28 a month. This confused me as I have only ever been a prepayment meter customer. I have never had an account that could go into debt in the first place. Definite error.
Emailed their complaints team with all relevant details for ID and explained I am a disabled customer on benefits and have no means to call them as i can't afford credit at the moment. 4 days later a reply says I need to call in ty goodbye. Replied the obvious. 3 days later I'm asked to provide info for ID purposes ty goodbye. Replied with said info Again. 2 days later I'm asked for the info from the screens on my meter. No explanation of how to get them. 3 days later I'm told how and provide pics of those screens. A week passes so I email for an update and I'm told I need to call in because it does appear there is a debt on my meter....
Honestly. The worst. Company. Ever. I am sick of being fobbed off with a 1 sentence email so some overworked grunt can say they actioned a complaint. I will be looking into legal action because this is honestly robbery. I'm being told "You owe us £825 But we don't know why. You have to call us to fix it" and good luck with that when it's a 30min call queue every damned time you manage to borrow a phone.
Never been more infuriated by a company in 39 years on this planet.

A scam company I never used their supply when I was in my previous address . I installed a different supply and I left my house after 6 years they are charging me an amount they can’t even explained and I asked them for evidence or when did that was. I then speak to one of them she said it was a mistake then after 4 months they sent me again a letter asking to pay a money of a supply I never used. They are looking for vulnerable people to overcharge.

Horrible experience on the phone. Closed an account with them on July and still got payments through in August. After 40 minutes on the phone finally got through I was transferred right away to another person, however, it got hung up. After a second wait of 30 minutes I got transferred again to be sent to another worker (again). After a second wait of 40 minutes in the same call the worker was mostly condescending... I hope I can get my money back. Unless something changes or really desperate I will unlikely use their services again.

Usually very good I live in sheltered housing I DONT want a smart MN enter my homes rented it's not my authority to let them put in smart meter without asking I'm vunerable and have had a text saying it's six month since you last gave us a reading quote can we have a reading today that comes over aggressive I'm not in debt I pay by direct debit if it goes up money there and they know this I've told them I can only give them a reading when warden back on to open meter I don't want a key as if I did s reading and forgot to lock it up our landlord sent letters round. that some Tennant's had got flyers etc in their meter which is a fire hazard which is true so I don't want that risk I don't trust smar to meters as I heard they cost a lot to run on the phone just now the call handler said well are you going to be able to give us a reading on Monday or not I said wardens usually on bank holiday so yes if she isn't it will be Tuesday I said there's nothing I ca n d of asked them to make a not that it's sheltered housing and that I'm vunerable laughable thing is I'm usually ahead or its covered it wouldn't mind the attitude of I'm behind but I'm not SSE DONT have a attitude li ki e that with on-time payers it's not nice to a mentally disabled person and is it a way to me ake you have smart meter you choose to stop sending meter readers round not ours I suppose it's cos you've to trail through building but you've proberly a few customers here pass this to your manager and don't say it's a standard text stardared texts me are like letters you can have two or more templates
