Company trying to scam me out of over £1000 electric debt for a flat that I haven’t lived in for over 2 years!!! Even though I’ve provided multiple evidence and seeked advice. I’ve called over 15 times in 6 weeks and I couldint even begin to tell you the amount of emails I’ve sent. But no one can help me, no one can stick to a arranged phone call and when I do phone the main line I get told they don’t have a clue what to do and they don’t even have a manager or higher up to transfer me to! They use excuses like our system was down hmm ok but why has the issue been ongoing for over 2 months now. Or the latest excuse is you changed your number we have been unable to connect it goes to dial tone. Erm no I have anxiety about this debt over my name that’s not mine and I have sat staring at my phone waiting for their call making sure it’s got signal and I do not miss the call but they never call when arranged or at all. This has got serious as it’s now showing on my credit profile as they are sharing the debt with other company’s clearly! I am not even responsible for this and it’s now starting to have a big negative impact on me! Very poor customer service, service in general and fraudulent company. Definitely something not right going on.

It seems to be common practise that Scottish Power sets up accounts without the permission of the name they place on the account. Neither that apparent account holder or the Agent made any contact with Scottish Power to set up an account. When pressed with Scottish Power they say they did but cannot provide any information / proof that any call, email or chat took place. The account that was there before naturally disconnected because of this apparant new connection and had its history deleted and connection dates manipulated to say it was only ever connected for one day back in mid 2019. Someone at Scottish Power is clearly changing data and creating accounts without permission. Is this not malpractice?

Appalling company and service. Take forever to resolve complaints and take over a week to reply to emails.
Not consistent with any communications and don’t follow through on anything. We are 5 months into a complaint that should have been resolved within weeks. We are disgusted with Scottish power and they are completely incompetent at ‘customer service’ AVOID THEM

If you get asked to join ScottishPower tell em to Do One, there the most expensive energy provider I know and I wish I never joined them they are about as useful as 🤑🤑🤑🤑 and they don't do what they say they'll do half the time like when we waited all day for them to come and see us and nobody turned up at all - they gave a estimated reading of £1, 030 and then had the audacity to say we was under paying and said we owe £1, 155, 36 they can get stuffed because why is it they reckon we owe over £1,000 when my neighbour even said his electricity bill is only £300 for a year and use more electricity then us and we haven't been with ScottishPower not even a year yet - so those so called Sales Reps at the supermarket's tell em Off cause ScottishPower are time wasters and money grabbers and most expensive company around - we was never in debt until we joined ScottishPower

At my door canvassing tonight 5pm don't come back had the most horrendous time years ago and had to get help with ombudsman
1 bedroom flat for years paid dd on time every month
1 year got rebate of £130 and dd was reduced by £10 month
Paid as requested dd for next year monthly then at month 10 received a bill saying I owed £1800 which I didn't I got threatening letters even spending hours on hold pushed pillar to post still wasn't resolved and had to get ombudsman involved thats my true story
