When your working in Bishop Auckland but it's faster to go to spennymoor. Staffing issues been going on far to long now. The staff who are there are fantastic. Just not enough staff. For the last year. Tool time will seriously take alot of trade when it's open.

I visited this store after ordering online for "Click and Collect". First, there are insufficient parking spaces for the number of customers.
Then, when I walked through the door there were four people queuing for the tills on the left, but a big sign on top of the central display unit at eye level pointed to the right saying "Click and Collect". So, I went to the right and stood by the area marked "Collection point".
The two staff members at the tills quite clearly saw me standing there but proceeded to serve the four people waiting on the other side of the display unit and another five people who arrived after me before turning to me.
When I asked what is the point of having Click and collect, if they don't provide the service, I was told I should have logged in on an anonymous panel on the wall (unmarked in any way).
Screwfix, and especially this branch, have no respect for their customers or their customers' time. If you provide a service, think through how you are going to deal with it and give suitable customer service. Screwfix falls short too often.

Ordered items online nearing 5pm, for click & collect. I fully expected to receive the notification for collection the next day, but I was pleasantly surprised to get the text message within about 30 minutes. Total time, including browsing the site, placing order and then collecting the items was quicker than going to somewhere like B&Q, searching the store, waiting in line and finally paying.

Visited the store (Bishop Auckland branch) yesterday evening, think it was about 16:30. The blonde lady who served me provided great customer service, helped me to search for a product to meet the job requirements and did her best to ensure the product was suitable for the job. Not tried the product yet to see if it dose work but the service provided was great by this lady.

Good prices and service and a reasonable range of products. However not all of the lines are stocked in large quantities. If you want any quantity out of the ordinary (which seems to be about four) you will need to pre order.

Forgot to look up the information beforehand, arrived and was told it's pick up only, so not allowed in the shop. Ended up pissing around ordering online then waiting for it to get processed. Luckily it took about half an hour altogether so well done to the staff, but still slightly annoying....

I popped in without being sure they'd have what I needed but as usual the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and even disposed of my old item that was being replaced. As such I was able to get the job done that day AND the item was half the price of the same one I'd seen on Amazon, which was a real surprise
