Went into the store today as we needed quite a few bits for our upcoming hot tub installation, the gentle man who helped us knew exactally what we needed and made the whole experience much easier for my husband who has dyslexia and autism an asset to the company.

Staff are always fine but the stocks are shocking every time I come in nothing I want is in stock, I ordered my drill yesterday afternoon needing it for the moring and nothing ! Seriously not good enough. What happened to the days where you could walk onto a store and it have everything you need right there and then ready for the day.

Great in store experience every time. Staff friendly and very informative. Had the pleasure of being served by Paul today who was really helpful towards me taking numerous items to my car. 5* customer service.

Friendly staff always ready to help.
Catalogues at hand with a massive range of equipment, tools and basically anything needed for most jobs.
Also things you probably wouldn't think they would stock at very competitive prices.
If it's not in stock today, it will be tomorrow. Items ordered in very quickly, or reserved at another branch.

I called in to the Doncaster store today to return a pair of boots under there guarantee. I was greeted by the duty manager with a very present are you ordering or collecting but that all changed when I said I was returning these boots. Her manner changed I got a very curt what's wrong with them. To which i pointed out the hole in the top if the boot. She then did not say anything and started to type on the computer. After filling in a sticker she gave me a carrier bag and said put the boots in here no please or thank you. Then asked if I wanted the same pair again or a different one. I replied some please and was greeted with the guarantee is from the date you purchased the boots not from now. I replied I did know that and off she went to get a new pair.
If that is how your customer relations works heven help the company. Such a shame as I have been using this branch since it opened and have never had a problem like this before. When I have returned things in the past it has always been very sorry about that and hope you will continue to use our store.
