I usually find here stuff that I need straight away, and Amazon will deliver it later. Prices are good, occasionally cheaper than Amazon, but mostly more expensive and the availability and choice are much more limited. For a high street retailer are doing very well. I have not asked for help or advice; I do my search online first and know what I need (and what not), so cannot comment on their technical knowledge. But, what I find annoying is the lack of understanding of how the online check-in system works by some guys (always men) who seem to have no idea about it and are busy chatting with each other. (Sadly, an older male employee starts looking frantically on a computer screen to figure out who knows what, even though he's told the order is checked in...). In contrast, young and female employees are perfectly capable and have the order at the desk the moment I walk in (after all, what is the purpose of having online check-in of an order, which you can only do at around 30m from the store if it's not ready to collect at the desk). So, here is an idea: get rid of all the men from front desk duties, and have instead the very helpful, polite and always smiling (and seemingly far more intelligent) women at the front.

Update early October: Got in to collect checked-in order of two parts. Front desk guy with distinctive beard and visible signs of sleepiness/intoxication/tiredness has no clue... Checks on screen and fetches part one only. I point out there is more for this order, looks totally surprised, and eventually brings in store's yellow bag with the rest and hands it to me. Should I have taken the yellow bag and walk away, leaving him to continue his nap? Took my stuff and left. So, in all, have had about enough with this store. I'll stick with Amazon and save me the hassle.

Great store. Great team. Always happy to help and offer advice and competitive prices. Cheap Parking ran by horizon around the back if there’s no spaces out front or you have a long vehicle (Side road by the left of the building between the shops).

Really nice staff, fast and friendly service. Parking at rear costs but it's a public car park. Great range, fast coming into stock when ordering next day, great communication which is very important to me a business person. Highly recommended

It doesn't have parking but there is a public car park right opposite and it's great to have a store like this in the centre of Hazlemere. It is rarely busy and there are usually plenty of staff which are always very helpful and friendly. Are you recommended

AND check out the internal architecture of the store- see if you can translate the olde English on the exposed beams!

Fabulous. Good value, friendly and very helpful staff. A real asset to the High St. We're all trying to save money and this place can do that. So glad they are here. 10 out of 10. After a bad experience elsewhere, this place fits the bill.
