As a complete lighting and electrical novice. I went in with a LED light unit to be replaced and I had a great patient and helpful service that has helped me install a light. My old had 3 wires the new was 2 and they helped and I now have a working lighting circuit.

Customer service excellent. I bought two tins of deck paint, but didn't like the colour. Took the unopened one back. They were happy to swap it, but didn't have the colour I wanted in stock. They went to the trouble of locating it at a nearby branch and arranged for me to collect at no cost. Went out of their way to help me. Absolutely brilliant.
I always use them as first port of call. Always made to feel welcome.

Strange, little 'reception/serving area. Only has 4 touch screen, self service points (only 3 were working). But the actual staff are efficient, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. My particular request wasn't available in here so I was directed to B&Q.

Parking can be difficult as spaces are at a premium. Would be nice if they offered some seating or refreshments in the waiting area...but as I say...it really is tiny. It is for this that I only give 4*.

I needed to remove screws to change batteries on my Dyson.

I didn't have a screwdriver so came here to buy one.

The young lad behind the counter got a screwdriver for me, and allowed me to use it and change my battery in the shop without charging.

All the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Especially on the Trade counter. They have most items in stock and if not then they are delivered next day. The items are always picked very quickly. The customer service is top notch.

Cater 4 everything,tools,consumables & everything in building& outside trades wouldn't go elsewhere. Knowledgeable friendly helpful staff,vehicle parking always good. If they don't have it in stock they order 4next day& always txt 2 let u no when it's arrived.
