My first visit to the Screwfix witham branch. I Usually go to Sutton fields. It was quiet when I called in, the service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I much preferred it when they did the catalogues You could just browse through it and find things you didn't know they sold or that you even need. I am no good with computers, it's a nightmare trying to find things. The staff found the mitre saw stand I wanted from a picture on my phone, as a bonus it was on offer 25% off. Brilliant service and plenty of parking. They've also got some really nice Christmas jumpers in, the profits from which go to charity.

After going B&Q yesterday and finding the staff very rude and unhelpful I walked out and went accross to Screw Fix were Dave served me. He was amazing, he took the time to help me with what I needed and also gave me advise. Very impressed and will go back there.

This branch is really convenient, and for some strange reason it never seems that busy compared to the others nearby? Stock of some items is occasionally not as good as other stores, but not having to queue makes up for it.
I tend to always use click and collect now. Works a treat and you know before setting off whether they have what you want or not.
Staff are always exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Can't fault the place.

Never been before so wasn't what I expected. Thought it would be a bit like wicks or b&q 😳 The young lady on my 1st visit (Thurs) was very helpful, although I'd left my phone at home she found the item I was after (shower seal). Informed me it would be available the next day (Fri)after 12.30pm. Went the next day only to be told it hadn't arrived yet. A young man called Shaun, took my details & said he would let me know when it had arrived. The following Wed I had a call to say the delivery, along with other items & the back log had arrived. I was able to collect it the following Saturday. 1 very happy customer. Thank you for a new experience. Getting on a bus with a 2mtr shower seal is another story 😱😊😂 Thank you again 👍

Went inn to buy a couple of fluorescent tubes. Considered changing them for LED tubes. The server was really helpful even working out the difference in price for me. A first class service.

A good store now running low on stock.
The car park is small, busy and rather dangerous, large trucks in and out and materials being carried around meant I had one eye on my car and the other on making sure I didn't get run over.
