Excellent choice for near enough anything DIY. Even though they are part of the same group as B&Q they are up to half price less on most of their stuff.

Good thing is they sell to domestic as well as trade customers unlike most trade places.

I went screw fix yesterday with my wife. I have to use a wheelchair and couldn't see the I-pads as they are set too high up for disabled people in a wheelchair or any other people around that height . At the counter my wife did mention this to an assistant who said "yes I did notice he was struggling to see." Another chap piped up "To be fair you should of just asked us to take the pad of the stand for you". To be fair screw fix and any other stores . It's hard enough being disabled we don't want to shout it from the roof tops. Simply lower a couple of pads and accommodate disabled people. Easy problem solved to be fair.

My husband who is 88 called there today wanting a part for a tap he took the part with him but the assistant was not helpful he said there were lots of parts upstairs but were every were so he could not help him we are not plumbers so what more could we do the tap is only a year old so now we don't no what to do

Walked in with an idea of what I wanted, used one of their tablets to find the item, add to basket and 'send to till'. Walked to the till, paid and collected. So easy to do, staff were chatty and pleasant.

Always good service on click and collect. Staff very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Feel safe in shop with only 6 allowed in, spaced out and all wearing masks with staff behind screen.

Excellent one of my local stores.
Recent visit I ordered the wrong item on line, no problem the customer representative asked what I really needed, reimbursed the payment and ordered the the new stock for me.
