I went into screwfix Witney last week and was served by a man wearing a badge saying “Branch manager” I enquired if he had a right angled Dewalt drill, he answered me saying, No they only do an attachment, so I then asked him if the did the Milwaukee right angled drill and again he did not even looked at me just said again No, we only do an attachments.

I then went on to your website and found the Dewalt right angled drill that he told me did not exist, so I asked his female colleague for it. She went off to get it from the warehouse, at this point it was only him and I in the shop, so he took it upon himself to finally look at me and said “ And how long have you been in this country”

Is this the way your male managers or workers are thought to treat female customers and do you not think some diversity training is really needed for this said manager. I do not need your staff to racially profile me in anyway or form when I enter your shop.

Easy access, good service and plenty of stock. Select what you want (on app or in shop) collect from the counter. Easy.
The app is worth getting as you can select ready to collect and go straight to the pick up point.

Loved It! Old fashioned hardware sore where you deal at the counter with an experienced salesman who brings up each request on his computer, then goes in to the warehouse to bring you back the article for you to see. What an extraordinary process! Takes time but very impressive.

Had to replace a saw I bought the day before as I got got wrong one due to my own stupidity. I was served by Ewan (I think) who was the deputy manager. Made everything really simple and was very friendly and courteous. Great, friendly and efficient service.

Wonderful service and wonderful store. Just moved into a new build house and need lots of odds and ends. This place has it all, or they will have it next day. Simple system of ordering but helpful staff as well.
Easy to exchange if you buy too much or simply get it wrong.

Situated in an industrial estate, nice, easy to find, parking spaces, lovely staff. I had ordered online in advance, so super fast. If not, there are catalogues for perusal and you can buy/order there and then.

Visited today , could not do enough to help! Went in to buy some very large bolts and all the gubbins that go with them. Unfortunatley they didnt stock the size needed. The young man helped with what I needed and recommended a local more specalised shop . Great to see that even though this is a large chain that excellent customer service lives on ! (Ewan deserves a promotion )
