What a fabulous place to holiday with the children (or just adults). It’s a really peaceful place to stay. They have animals there that the children loved. The naughty goats on the table they had to stop and look at every morning. The lodge is kitted out to an exceptionally high standard. The kitchen is petit but equipped with absolutely every utensil you could think of. Great facilities to cook inside and out. None of us wanted to get out of bed in the mornings due to the beds being so comfy and gorgeous linen/duvets that were too snuggly to leave. The hosting was fab seeing as its a self catering place we were checked in on a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed and all was working as it should. There’s plenty of seating inside and out and we weren’t in each others pockets. |Little swing outside was and added bonus for the children. (14 and 11 couldn’t get them off it) |Honestly can’t wait to return.

We have just returned from a fabulous long weekend at Secret Meadows and it was truly amazing. There were 14 of us plus two dogs and everyone of us had so much fun. It was a birthday celebration and I couldn't have picked a better place. The accommodation was first class and amenities brilliant. With 6 grandchildren between the ages of 15 and 11 months it was perfect. Ross took us to Meet the Animals which even the 11 month old thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend the experience. It's a hidden gem.

Beautiful family holiday within a well maintained nature reserve. Goat walking was a particular favourite and the two lovely chickens. Ross and Charlotte are very welcoming and friendly, with fantastic knowledge and recommendations of the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay and hope to be able to return in the future. Thank you!

We recently had a holiday here where we rented the Horse box.
It was really good and probably one of the best short holidays we have had in the UK.
Personally I like holidays without too many other people so Secret Meadows was just perfect in this regard. There is self check in and the Horse Box has its own private meadow. We felt very free to just lay about and chill on the grass with the fire going without having to see anyone else. Even the 13 yr old daughter was letting loose ( this is saying allot 🙂

Ross the site manager checked in with us to make sure all was well and he seemed like an awesome guy!
Oh and its really good if you have a doggie and there are just many little details in the accommodation that have been done so well.

We just had a brilliant long weekend at secret Meadows. We rented the two story luxury Safari tent for eight of us. Kids had the most fantastic time. Adults had a great time as well. The Accommodation is so brilliantly kitted out you have everything you need, whilst the environment feels like the wilderness!!!

We couldn't have had a nicer time at Secret Meadows. A really well thought out and cosy glamping experience. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tent and furnishings. The beds were comfy, home comforts like the electric kettle and hot plate made everything so much easier, and the tent itself was just beautiful to be in! To top it off, Ross (staff) was wonderful, helping us out with the fire and some lovely chats. Highly reccomend!!

Fully equipped accommodation with everything you could possibly need and more, beautifully secluded location with fantastic views and only a few minutes from tescos if you did forget anything. The pantry on site is great, alongside the wood store. Having the chicken coops by your tent are great entertainment and is very exciting waking up to fresh eggs in the morning. The kids loved seeing all the farm animals on site and really safe for dogs to run around including a private, enclosed dog park. We will definitely come back and perfect for not only only being in big groups but private enough to have a peaceful time with just family.

Beautiful location with great nature trails and public footpaths nearby. The Two Storey Tent was very nicely decorated and was really clean. The hammock and swing are a perfect way to sit in the natural space. The porch is great for sitting and chatting on too. Staff were super helpful and was just a lovely, relaxing trip. Plenty of food, charcoal, wood, matches and fire starters on site in the Woodstore and Pantry, plus shops are close by if you need provisions that aren’t there. Hampers from Grange Farm Shop were delicious too.
