In April 2025 we had nine solar panels with battery storage fitted by Sharp Energy Solutions on our house in Fortrose, Highland.

Sharp Energy Solutions were understanding when there was a delay caused by the need to obtain both Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent. Once these were achieved, a date was agreed and the panels were fitted and commissioned in less than a week.

Sharp Energy Solutions are hard working, efficient and produced a high standard of work throughout.

In the recent sunny weather almost all of our electricity needs have been met by solar with only a tiny amount from the grid.

We are delighted with the result and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I found Sharp Energy Solutions through Facebook and contacted John as I was looking for a solar quote. John quickly provided a quote and soon came out to survey and discuss the proposal.
We agreed some small roof repairs and that the quote was still valid, it didn’t take me long to contact John to go ahead.

John took care of the G99 application and we agreed the install dates. Arrived bang on time and finished the next day. Neat and tidy and very pleased with the team and workmanship.
All the completion documents arrived next day.

No upfront payment and a system that is now saving me money.

From meeting the team at Sharp Energy Solutions when they came to quote for our instillation of Solar Panels we felt at ease. On arrival they took their shoes off so our carpets would stay clean. There was no hard sell, to use their company, they explained fully what would happen from start to finish checking that we were ok with how the installation would proceed. On the day, the boys arrived on time and erected the scaffolding and got to work, securing the metal frames which would hold the panels, also checking that our roof tiles were secure. They cleaned up after themselves every step of the way. They were efficient, friendly and very trustworthy. The second day the Panels were being installed with all the electrics, batteries and Inverter, again they cleaned up after themselves and we had nothing to do. The outside wiring which connected the panels etc was discretly covered and again, any mess from drilling etc cleaned up as they went. We recommend these men 100%. Tommy, John and young John were fantastic. Also running us through the workings, from us downloading the app to how it works. If you’re thinking of solar panels? Id definitely say choose Sharp Energy Solutions

Sharp Energy Solutions came recommended to us last year when we decided to have solar and batteries installed, john and his team did and excellent job and it was all completed in a day.
We recently got them back down to Install another two panels and an extra battery, and also Install an EV charger for us, any tech help John was always in touch via phone or message.
We live in Lancashire, so these guys will travel to Install.

Sharp Energy Solutions fitted 16 Solar Panels with an inverter and a battery storage pack to my bungalow. They arrived on the day they promised and apart from a 20-30 minute lunch break worked through until they finished. I was "walked through" the system and the monitoring App and given every opportunity to ask questions. The crew of 3 were mannerly and respectful and cleaned up after their work. Prior to installation, Sharp Solutions answered a number of questions from me in good time (appreciating they are a small business) and gave me a raft of information I requested. In cost terms, they were the least expensive yet they supplied much better spec panels, inverter and battery storage than other installers I received quotes from yet were between 3k and 11k cheaper. At this point I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sharp Energy Solutions.

Recently arranged my Solar System with Inverter/Battery set up to be installed by Sharp Energy Solutions
Knew the type of system I was looking for for my property so narrowed my solar install down to 2 or 3 companies inc Sharp
After first speaking with John about the system ,their company stood out and i was happy to arrange install through them
During the install John and the rest of the team were great, arriving at 8am each day and completing the work in agreed timescale

What a great experience it was using Sharp Energy Solutions for our solar panel fitting. From the initial enquiry throughout the installation and the installation of a second battery later they were exceptional.
Always ready to answer questions and dealing with the paperwork they were great.
The installation was carried out in just over a day including a change of consumer unit that I requested be done at the same time. At all times they were polite, friendly and efficient and at the end there was no mess at all. Just a fully functioning system.
We later asked them to install a second battery and this was carried out in a similar friendly , efficient and tidy manner.
I thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting a reliable and fuss free solar panel installation.
