My wife and I arrived home on 9th June after an 8 day stay at The Kingswood Hotel. I have been visiting Sidmouth for many years, I love the town and it means a lot to me and to all my family. I have to say that in all the years I have been visiting the town I have never seen such disgraceful seagull droppings everywhere. The Town Council needs to make a decision NOW to ensure that the seagulls are removed. You need to decide if you want visitors or seagulls. It is a no brainer, and the solution could be the sparrowhawk I saw with its owner on 8th June on the seafront. When the seagulls spotted the sparrowhawk they sqawked loudly and dsiappeared. You cannot ignore the problem any longer.

I've been to Sidmouth on a number of occasions and you have very reasonable parking rates and schemes and a massive car park just on the outskirts of one of the best holiday destinations. No complaints from me apart from the seagulls but what do I expect holidaying near the sea. It can't be avoided. Love the Town. Putting green exceptional.

Tonight 4 elms was closed because a car broke down, surely applying a spoonful of common sense - why did they not tow this vehicle only 400 yards up the hill to the layby, to prevent further accidents and a massive tail back causing major congestion? Also NO police signs out warning motorists of the issue!! Where is the common sense...!!
