Paddy Smith was an interesting and engaging tutor for a diverse group of willing and not so willing learners. Some just wanted the CSCS card. I've yet to do the CSCS card because I haven't chased that up. The guaranteed interview I ended up with was a recruitment agency and I haven't followed that up yet. The jobcentre still want to make my CV look professional. We didn't do that in the bootcamp course as we should have but there was follow up and engagement. I cannot fault Paddy or Nicola Devine, for their time, efforts and engagement. I made new friends on the course who I have stayed in touch with. From the boots kills camp, I got certificates in first aid, health and safety and Greenskills. I'm staying in the part time job I already have because I couldn't get references from my previous two employers, otherwise this course would have led on to switching direction and enjoying what I do more. I am, however, doing volunteer work in gardening, mental health and other community projects. I give 4 stars as it should have done everything it said during the time we were ther and that it hasn't continued running. There should be more Greenskills in the South Tyneside and Gateshead East areas.

The course for teaching assistants I attended was professionally delivered, and additional placement gave me some experience, so is not only theory-based training.

During the training, everybody was supported with everything that needed to be done, by the staff.

Highly recommend !!!

The worst company I have ever done a course with. Both tutors that taught me had a bad attitude and when I tried to explain my difficulties with travelling to the sessions they refused to listen. On top of that I couldn't settle in one if the sessions because one of the tutors was breathing down my neck every two minutes. Also I successfully completed a task for another tutor but was made to do the bloody thing again when nobody else was forced to do it twice. Also there was no patience from one of the tutors when I struggled with the first aid CPR task. I nearly passed out and was struggling but there was no concerns for my health and wellbeing. Then tutors make comments like if you don't come and collect work we'll shred it. Why couldn't they bloody post the damn thing. Also there is no flexibility. I had to miss a dental appointment to do the course because they refused to give time off. I would not recommend this course to anybody or if you want to do it I suggest doing it somewhere else.

Our barbering teacher Gina is lovely, love her a lot she is so interested in teaching us which makes a big difference and always has time for any questions 😍🤩💕 would definitely recommend🙏
