Moved into a property, no gas supply/hot water. I had an emergency appointment booked with SMSL.
I confirmed I will be at the property all day. I was waiting all morning, I missed a call near the end of the appointment slot. The engineer only called once, they proceeded to cancel my appointment despite the fact I have no gas supply and confirmed I will be at the property all day.
I raised the issue with my gas company and I was informed this is a recurring issue with SMSL cancelling appointments.
Unacceptable and unprofessional.

SCAMMERS. This company "cold called" me obtaining all my personal information from Eon my energy supplier. However they lied stating they got my information from National Grid who have confirmed they do not hold my personal information.

The cold call was aggressive and they voluntarily gave out my e-mail address to me on the phone despite them not asking any me any security questions so they had no idea who i was!

Their phone number does not accept an incoming call.

Am reporting them to Trading Standards and the ICO.

REMEMBER! SMART METERS ARE NOT A LEGAL REQUIREMENT. DO NOT VE BULLIED INTO GETTING ONE. COMPANIES INSTALLING THEM GET GOVERNMENT GRANTS IT'S ALL A MONEY MAKING EXERCISE. ALSO SMART METERS ARE LINKED TO HEALTH ISSUES.
