Yesterday, I bought a cream 1.7L Hamilton Beach electric kettle. I am very pleased with this stylish well-designed and functional kettle. It is quiet and pours well without spillage. The handle is comfortable to hold. Excellent service from Snapes at a reasonable price. Greatly appreciated.

Snape & Sons had an item available for collection for which I had a dire need! The online purchase was very simple; so simple, in fact, that I was a little suspicious that it hadn't worked properly, but - having placed the order in the late evening - I received an e-mail the next morning to let me know that my ordered goods were available for pick-up. The shop has a handy car park to call its own and the staff were very friendly and the order was exactly as it should be. No complaints, then, and I'll be happy to call into this handy local business next time I have hardware needs. Cheers!

Fantastic service as always from Snapes.
Ordered a garden bench on line, was given option of flat pack or assembled, on a phone call from them - no extra charge for being assembled, delivery as discussed. Impressive service.
Used the shop on many occassions very helpful and pleasant staff. Keep up the good work!

First time I had gone there to pick up a special HG headstone cleaner for which they were stockists and which I ordered online. Website with postcode details helped as I use public transport. Topped by an excellent coffee at the Church Inn's marquee cafe just around the corner handily by the bus stop! Courteous greeting and directed to their annex for 'click and collect'. Have since used the cleaner, an excellent product, thanks for stocking.

This is the last small hardware shop in the area and it is brilliant. If they haven't got it in stock they will get if for you. The online option is great to be able to order anything ahead of time if you have a project on. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and it's a local, high street shop. What's not to love.

I rang this lovely company on a Saturday, to make an order. They reserved the item for me until Monday, and then rang me back to finalise the details - and the item arrived two days later. They are warm, friendly and efficient, really lovely to deal with.
