Super work by S&O converting our roof space to an amazing dormer extension. Best room in the house!As a building company they cannot be faulted, and I would fully recomnend them. The team at S&O are hardworking, reliable, super organised and professional. They arrived at 8 each morning without fail, finishing at five after making sure they left everything clean and tidy! Thankyou Dan and Harry! Great organisation and good communication meant a big job (in winter too) felt manageable - everthing was organised really well, so no time was lost. Their quote was competitive, and we were really pleased the extension came in exactly on budget. All in all we are very pleased with the result and great work by the team at S&O.

We have just had our loft conversion done by S&O and can honestly recommend them! Our bungalow looks like a different house. They saw and could imagine what we could not. They managed to design two large bedrooms and a bathroom. And a beautiful staircase,that looks like it always belonged to the house. Right position and size of the windows brings so much light. They were always available to answer our questions and bring their expertise. Definitely very professional, always on time, sticking to the schedule, listening and also giving some good valuable advice, that I am glad we have listened to.

The team at S&O recently completed our loft conversion and we couldn't be happier.

From the start, they were the only ones who actually listened to our requirements and designed the solution we actually wanted, rather than trying to upsell us to something we didn't need. They were also best priced out of all the quotes we got.

When it came to the work, they were professional and friendly and when they left every night, we could barely tell that they had been there, so good was their daily tidying. We were really worried about disruption and needn't have done because they managed it all superbly.

We actually had a small change of heart after the start of construction and decided to go in a slightly different direction, but this posed no problems to the guys and the accommodated us and our needs the whole way through.

After construction had finished, as always there were one or two things that needed a revisit to tie up, but they did this either on the day we called or the day after.

Genuinely cannot fault them for their professionalism, workmanship, cost or attention to detail. Would 100% recommend.

From the initial quote to the finished job I can’t fault the team at all.
Full breakdown of costs and works and Steve is happy to amend anything. The entire team were very professional and clean and all neighbours commented on how tidy and quiet the guys worked. We had a Hip to Gable Loft extension, with flat roof dormer to the rear with ensuite, and if you’re thinking of doing the same, then look no further, or at the very least be sure to get in touch with these guys.
From the first point in which we contacted S&O about the possibility of doing the work for us, the communication was concise, clear and they immediately stood out as being one of the more professional outfits that we had engaged with when looking for quotes.
Once we decided to go with S&O, the lead time they gave us before they could start the work was accurate, and any questions we had in the meantime Steve was more than happy to answer for us.
Once the work began, it was all go, and the progress was rapid and efficient. The two guys they had working on our house, John & Dan, are an absolute credit to the company. They were respectful, extremely hard working, clearly very good at what they do and the house was left immaculate at the end of each day. We had 3 neighbours go out of their way to say what good lads they were and what a good job they were doing.
Likewise, the subbies they used were all excellent, and was reassuring to know that they had all worked on plenty of S&O projects in the past. Collectively they all made a great team.
