Update: They contacted me immediately after I posted this review and rescheduled the service for Friday afternoon. However, on Friday, they rescheduled it again for the next day (Saturday). They finally showed up on Saturday after multiple reschedules and did a nice job cleaning the two bins. Overall, the cleaning service itself is quite good, but the scheduling and communication are a real headache.

I am quite certain that this company is a scam, and the reviews are either fake or paid for. We scheduled a service two weeks ago for noon and were required to pay in advance. On the day of the appointment, they called in the evening to say they had a technical issue and rescheduled for the following week. When the new date approached, I needed to reschedule due to Labor Day causing a one-day delay in trash pickup. I asked if they could come on Sunday instead of Saturday, and they agreed—but they didn’t show up, nor did they notify me.

I called their office repeatedly at various times, but no one ever answered. What kind of “company” or “business” never picks up the phone or returns calls? Later, they sent a text saying they had rescheduled for another week at 3 PM, which is exactly when our trash is picked up. I called them to let them know that our trash is picked up at 5 PM, so 3 PM wouldn’t work. They still didn’t answer calls or respond to texts. I am confident this company is not legitimate. I paid $75 to have two bins cleaned, but they were never serviced.

Booking, easy. Customer service (even through text messages), very kind. They respect the property and they leave the property clean too. Bins are super clean and smell so good! Payment processing easy through website.
Price, not bad.

Awesome experience with this company! They did come a bit late, but i was completely okay with it since i was a new customer. Nonetheless, the service is great and the crew is great. Trash bins are smelling and looking nice like fresh off the lot. Would definitely recommend and definitely be in my pocket for future business.

How did I not know of this AMAZING service until now. In this heat, it's hard to not have stinky garbage cans. They just got done cleaning mine and they're so spotless YOU COULD EAT OFF THEM. Not only that they smell SO GOOD. And not some offensive, overly perfumed cover-up smell... they smell like freshly fallen rain. That kind of ozone smell. Look, it's the smallest things in life that can be the biggest luxury and SoCal EcoWash is not only a joy to work with - but the service they provide is top notch. I'm going to get everyone on my block to use them. THANK YOU!!!

Did a great job! My trash cans were so gross of if I could have thrown them away and got new ones I would have. They showed up got to work and now my cans are super clean

Excellent service! Bins were filthy from summer time heat and excessive trash leaks. All odors gone, bins smell amazing and are super clean. Like brand new all over again. I can’t recommend SoCal EcoWash enough!

Follow Up:

I'm changing my rating to 2 stars because we ordered 4 cleanings, and after the first time they didn't communicate with us to schedule further cleanings. When I reached out via text and email, I got no response from them for weeks until I threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Even then we only got one more cleaning. I basically gave up on getting our money's worth.

Fast forward six months later, I received a completely random text saying they'll be there in 15 minutes for our 3rd cleaning. We rushed to put out our 3 cans that we wanted cleaned, and when we checked them after, found that they had grabbed the ones BEHIND the ones we put out (because they were much easier to clean). When I reached out to them about this, they said, "You should have put the ones you wanted cleaned out in front." We replied that we had, and even took a picture for them. They answered that they would "make a note of it for next time." We really needed the one we use for lawn trimmings and dog poop cleaned, and so I asked if they could at least come back and do that one since they went out of their way to avoid it this time. No answer after that. Completely ghosted.

Definitely would not recommend. Not sure what's going on with them, but they don't seem like a serious business.

Earl came by to grab our bins for our first cleaning and was so awesome! He was super friendly and professional, and he did a great job getting years of gunk off! The website to sign up and book the cleaning was also intuitive and quick with great follow-up survey! Definitely would recommend them!
