When we started looking for solar panels, we got a few recommendations, and had several visits and quotes. The quote from Electrix was very informative, and also much better value than the others. We did our own research into the brands they use, which showed they were good, and also asked them questions which were answered very quickly. The quote also included scaffolding, which some of them required you to sort out yourself.

We were given clear dates for delivery and installation, and everything was done bang on time. The installers were helpful, conscientious and left everything tidy. They even let us know about some existing damage to some roof edging that was not visible from the ground so we could get it fixed, and replaced some existing cracked tiles for us, which felt above-and-beyond to us.

The whole process was very smooth and we were up and running at once, with all the information we needed supplied in the handover pack or in answer to our emails. We have a large battery, and so far the panels have been generating enough electricity to run the house nearly all the time, even on quite cloudy days, and on sunny ones we are now feeding back to the grid with an export tariff from Octopus, so it all seems to be working well.

You hear a lot of horror stories about solar panel installers, so we were a bit nervous – it’s a lot of money – but we can recommend this company, they have been helpful and efficient beginning to end.

First time I have used Electrix for my electrical and/or Eco equipment, but very pleased with the outcome. They installed a MyEnergi home battery system and also helped replace some LEDs in the kitchen hob extractor unit. All the work was completed successfully first time. The installation team were very pleasant and friendly, completing the work on time and in a very tidy manner. Our thanks to everyone in the team. We would certainly recommend and use for future electrical work.

Although they had not fitted the PV panels initially,
I contacted Electrix Renewable in Devon as my 44 panel PV panels fitted in 2011 were not working properly. They were enthusiastic about getting involved and sent a technician to identify the problem. A few days later a couple of technicians came and sorted the problem within a day.

I was pleased that the company responded quickly and efficiently to my request for assistance and I was relieved to find a competent company in my area ready and able to resolve my PV problems.

I recommend the company without reservation. They do what they say they will and do it quickly and competently. Many thanks for getting my panels back to normal working order - I only wish the sun would shine for more than a few minutes between showers.
