PV is an investment and something I only wanted to do once but I wanted to avoid going for some of the installers who suddenly appeared when all of the grants became available. I heard of Solar Save through word-of-mouth, and when I found from their website that Petar had invested time and money to study renewables at Masters level, that didn't seem like a fly-by-night company. I got in contact and Diana arranged a date for the survey. Any worries about a double-glazing style sales pitch quickly dissipated. Petar's survey was thorough, looking at a range of installation locations and coming up with a system that met our needs - not necessarily ones that made installation easy. He was easy to talk to and discuss things with and didn't try to blind us with technical terms, etc.,. nor did he try and sell things we didn't need - in fact, he gave good reasons not to do things I suggested (after reading about PV on the internet). The subsequent analysis was thorough, detailed and understandable. The installation went painlessly. Petar, Dan and Brendan worked hard for long days with quality results, tidying-up after themselves. The paperwork came through within a couple of working days. Most importantly, it all works as it should, and I am now boring people by showing them an app with how much power is going where. High quality equipment at a good price and installed by a professional team.

Update: Its only May and a few sunny days have meant electricity from the grid is only about 1 % of what we used, the rest is from the solar system. Half of what the solar system created was exported to the grid. The battery has been almost perfectly specified to get us through the night. Prior to this installation, our electricity bill was £360 pm, so this is making a massive difference.

The entire experience from original contact, quotes, dates for installation, completion of all paperwork; made the whole process a very positive one. Petar and Diana and others of the team showed courtesy, knowledge and depth of experience at every stage of the works.
They arrived when they said they would, the work was done with the minimum of disruption, very clean and tidy workers with everything being done with great skill and consideration.
I’m extremely pleased with the whole installation and look forward to greatly reduced bills.

Petar, our main contact was someone we knew from several years ago for his help in boiler maintenance so he was our first call to replace a Swedish boiler which had sprung a leak and was repairable. Petar was helpful in guiding us to the best price option for our needs, a Turkish made 80Kwh biomass boiler which has worked out fine. He was on call during the commissioning and returned to fix a few issues very soon after. Trustworthy and reliable would be the best way to describe Petar's services.

Great advice from the team which reulted in us not having to use the roof of the house --but the garage instead. All work done quickly and neatly and in even in the worst conditions.
