Strongly recommended. This is my fourth dealing with Solar Select, and they have performed well each time. On the one previous occasion where there was a post installation issue, tis was dealt with effectively and promptIy.
Today I had an EV wallbox installed today by Sam and Jack, who worked diligently and professionally. Thanks to Sam for the post-installation tutorial and spending time ensuring I can make the most of the devices and apps. Also many thanks to the superlative Debbie in the office, ensuring everything happens when it should, and keeping the grateful customer in the loop!

Nice people to work with, friendly and approachable. Kept me well informed throughout the process. Installation went ahead much sooner than I thought it would and took less time. Gave me a good run-through of the system. Made the whole experience of installing solar panels and battery less intimidating and hassle-free than it at first seemed.

Our roof's solar panels were initially installed by Project Solar UK Ltd. Unfortunately, when a poorly fitted panel led to a leak, they declined to carry out the necessary remedial works responding "we do not offer any workmanship warranties or guarantees", even though we were covered under NHBC. Fortunately, Solar Select UK Ltd stepped in, willingly taking on the task of repairing and addressing the issues with our solar panel and roof at a reasonable price, and they did so without any complications. We appreciate their assistance.

While our initial install was very good a few issues were noticed after a few months and despite emails and phone calls we have not had any response from Solar Select. We were able to get help from others in the industry to correct the issues but as the system has a 10 year guarantee associated with it, I’m not confident of getting support as things progress if required.

Update: since our original issues, Solar Select have been back in touch and have re-affirmed their support for our system. They have also responded quickly to my request to update the control of my system leading me to update my review and suggest that they are a good installer of solar and battery technology

Once again Solar Select Sam came to install on my property and once again impeccable service. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam to explain. Full consultation with me over the installation position was made and totally satisfied with the product. Of course, I must mention the office staff, from the lady that took my call to the sales team - all superb

THE GOOD Good team that installed my solar panels
THE BAD Poor communication with the installation taking so long no one called me.
Turns out my system wasn't installed right and programming was wrong, Solar Select Ltd didn't want to know. I ended up calling the inverter people and they had to follow up to make them call me. I have now given up.
Solar Select Ltd are good at taking money but offer zero backup.
I haven't given my true name as the young engineer was very rude and patronising to me. I'm an older person and felt a little intimidated.

Choose solar select to fit PV panels and battery storage. They gave a competitive price, had good reviews and most importantly were fairly local to me. Had to wait a while due to the huge demand for their services, as the energy prices shot up, but now all supplied and fitted. The fitting team were excellent, fully informed me what they were doing and what was needed, hard working and did a very tidy job.
